Wonderful cabin
If you want a place to stay that in the woods this is it. Large cozy cabin nestled in the woods right near the lake. Listen to the wildlife at night and see the stars. Firepit outside with a wood burning stove inside with all the modern luxuries as well. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back in a second.

Better than I expected!
Seeing as it was built so long ago, I expected a few more quirks and cobwebs than we found. This was definitely a good thing! The house is well taken care of, and a lovely place to stay. We enjoyed our time here very much.

Total seclusion
The property was very difficult to find. No markers. Up a dirt road. Cabin on the outside was as described. Inside was very musty smelling. Needs to be updated with clean furnishings. There was not a lake view as described. Upon Investigation we found black mold on walls In the basement which the owner stated she knew about but was waiting to fix after season. We were traveling with a cancer survivor and would never have stayed there had we been told about the mold.

Maine Getaway
If you are looking for a secluded cabin in the woods, this is it! Beautiful country and a great location. An hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park in one direction, and half an hour to Bangor in the other. If I ever go back to Maine, I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect getaway
Everything was as described, and easy to book. Cabin was nice, quiet and exactly what we were looking for. We're accustomed to staying at cabins, and this was one of the top ones we've stayed in. Highly recommend!
