Nestled in the hills above Keuka Lake, "A Beautiful Place" is an 1,100 square foot, all-season Log Cabin. This fully furnished cabin sleeps up to 8 guests and is located on six acres overlooking the lake just two miles from the rural village of Penn Yan, NY. You are only minutes away from Keuka College, Keuka State Park, several terrific restaurants and many of the Finger Lakes' award-winning wineries. On the other side of the lake you'll find the Penn Yan Airport and a challenging 18 hole golf course. Sunrises over Keuka Lake are really special, so "A Beautiful Place" is great for a romantic weekend getaway for two. It's also perfect lodging for a wine tasting or ski trip, or a fun family vacation!

Easter Vacation

We did a little weekend away for Easter. Althoigh the weather was a little damp to enjoy the porch or fire pit i did get to enjoy a sun rise with my coffee one morning. We took a drive down to the glass museum Sunday afternoon and visited the college canpus Saturday. The cabin was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The check in process was easy. I can see us visiting again.

Great location and view

We had a lovely time at the cabin. It has an incredible view of Keuka Lake and close to wineries, breweries and hiking trails. House was clean and quaint! Recommendation would be to see if could get water treatment as well water smells and recommend replacing old furniture by fire pit as not usable. Thx

Perfect Stay

Wonderful house in a picture perfect setting. Great view of the lake and close to Seneca Farms for ice cream😊 Our dog loved watching the deer that stopped by in the morning to graze. Highly recommend!

Third Time, Even More Charming!

This was the third visit to A Beautiful Place for me, my husband and our two Boston Terriers. As always, the cabin was clean, cozy and convenient. The fireplace made our stay even cozier as we watched five inches of snow fall outside. In downtown Penn Yan we highly recommend Amity Coffee Co. for breakfast, coffee and pastries; the 18th Amendment Kitchen and Cocktail Bar for seasonal craft cocktails and crabcakes; and the Main Deck for food with a view. We're looking forward to our fourth visit to A Beautiful Place because it feels like home!

Relaxation at its finest

This cabin was a great getaway spot! The fenced in yard was a great addition to be able to bring four legged friends. The cabin was so nice, inside and out. The owners were great and easy to reach. Great place to stay!

The cabin is owned by Ed (father), Tricia (daughter) and Kara (daughter). Ed, who has sold and built log cabins for over 40 years, built this cabin for a client in the late 80's. When that person decided to move, the family decided to purchase the cabin as a rental property.

Why they chose this property

This is a great, year-round rental in the beautiful Finger Lakes on Upstate NY. The location is very quiet and peaceful, but you are not far from numerous activities if you choose to pursue them.
