VIP 1422 South Fremont (two bedroom, one bath, large open kitchen/family room, large deck and hot tub with washer and dryer) is centrally located in the beautiful University Height/Rountree Neighborhood area. Less than 1/2 mile from Missouri State University (MSU) and less than 2 miles to the other Universities, major concert venues, downtown and major hospitals.

All hardwood and tile floors, hot tub, big yard with a tall privacy fence, 2 King Size Memory Foam Sleep Number Beds and a comfortable futon that also can sleep two. Sleeps six adults comfortably.

Has great new stereo system with indoor and outdoor speakers (Klipsch and Polk Audio). Premium cable channels.

The home also features art work from two of Missouri's premier Artists: Gary Delametre and Josh Mitchell.

All new stainless steel appliances and the kitchen is fully equipped with need cooking utilities. Granite counter tops with seating around the bar that can comfortable seat
5 guests.

The outside deck opens up from the back bedroom. It has a six man hot tube and out door seating for seven with a sun lounging chair.

No parties permitted without owners special permission. If you wish to bring pets, first discuss with owner. Non-paying guests cannot use the hot without payment arrangements with the Host/Owner. Keep the noise level down after 10pm. Respect the neighbors.

The back yard is very spacious and private.

Well restored restful cosy cottage, location handy for all the local amenities, home from home.

From the moment we arrived, Todd was always available to make our stay perfect, a really nice host very easy to talk too. He will always point you in the right direction for the best places to eat and drink at, especially if your looking for a micro brewery. He also makes a good chilli kon carne. Handy to have a connecting garage in freezing conditions with snow on the ground. Nice touch having a hot tub for when the temp drops into the minus. You will never be disappointed staying here, will definitely be back, when next in Springfield.

Good stay for the price

Todd’s house is mostly updated, we could see where he put the money. It was clean and tidy, though the bathroom could use a deep cleaning. The backyard though!! It was great and I could see what a great space it would be for kids to play. The hot tub was a nice addition too. Todd’s check in process was smooth and we felt very welcome & proximity to food and colleges was perfect. Would recommend’

I am a professional banker by day and part-time musician/artist. I started doing vacation rentals in 2014. I have another property VIP 1616 East Elm. I really enjoy welcoming guests to Springfield, MO. It has been a great experience for me so I decided to invest in this property which is about a mile from residence.

I pride myself on providing the best vacation rentals and service in town at very competitive prices.

Why they chose this property

This property has incredible amenities and is located a great area that is very easy to find. The location is perfect because It is close to downtown, major concert venues and all the major Universities yet is very easy and not far from South town attractions like Pro Bass Shop and Battlefield Mall. Mercy Hospital is less than 1 mile away and Cox Hospital is an easy drive about 2.5 miles away. Phelps Grove Park and the Springfield Art Museum is a close walk away.

What makes this property unique

Besides the great location, the house has two King Size Sleep Number Memory Foam Beds. My guests love the Hot Tub but I by far get more positive feedback on these beds than anything. I have these type of beds at both this property and my VIP 1616 East Elm property.

The house is newly remodeled in 2018 and is equipped with all the needed amenities included an awesome stereo system with indoor and out door speakers. The kitchen/bar area has granite counter tops and all new stainless steel appliances. You can view the large screen TV from both the living room and the kitchen-Bar Area. The house also has a washer and dryer purchased new in 2016.

The house also features art work from two renowned Missouri Artists: Josh Mitchell and Gary Delametre.
