Guestbook comments from the manager

Your house was perfect. The garden and pool were very fine and we loved the surroundings with the trees and 'wild nature'.

We were especially excited to see the monkeys - also all the other animals in the garden.

The beach is just spectacular.

There is no doubt about it - we will be back - and we will definitely recommend your place to other Danish families.

Noella is very kind. Everything was clean and perfect and she was very friendly. We just loved her:)

Andrew did a very god job with the garden - and he was also a very nice guy.

You are lucky to have them!!

Fantastic holiday to barbados

  • 5 of 5

This holiday home was just perfect for our family of three. The home is absolutely beautiful and we loved the space and quiet this place gave us. We loved coming back for lunch and having a bbq and enjoying the tranquillity before heading out for the afternoon. The garden and the flowers and trees were beautiful. Our daughter particularly enjoyed the regular visit from the monkeys in the afternoon as they trooped across the garden. We felt like we were in a nature reserve!

We celebrated our marriage whilst we were here and it was the perfect place. Claudette looked after the house well and was lovely to chat to and decorated our room when we got back in the evening after our wedding, which was a lovely touch.

This place was in the perfect location. We often went down to Gibbs beach to watch the sunset whilst our daughter snorkelling in the sea.

The home was clean and we had a lovely meal waiting for us when we arrived from glynnis, along with some groceries to keep us going. Sarah and Simon were prompt with questions whilst booking and also checked in with us whilst we were there to check all okay.

We hired the Suzuki and this was great for exploring the island. Locally we loved ju ju beach bar and the local fish from Smokey at the fish market.

It truely was a wonderful holiday with many happy memories and would recommend Tree Tops.

Also if you are looking to get married Elope Barbados were fantastic and plan beautiful weddings.

A great holiday and so glad we chose this place to stay. Wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

Idyllic House Close to Beach

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at Treetops for ten days with my husband and a friend and we all three loved it. The house is designed so that it is full of light but gets no direct sunlight and is open on all sides with breezes blowing through, so it remains cool. The grounds, pool and surrounding area are beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and It's a short and pleasant walk to a lovely beach. We tried many of the restaurants recommended by Sarah and Simon, but the best food we had by far was the meal Andrew cooked for us. We didn't rent a car and found the local busses convenient and fun. The wonderful staff, Claudette and Andrew, took care of all our needs.

After visiting other parts of the island I would say if you are looking for peace, tranquility and proximity to a good swimming beach, you can't do better than Mullins and Treetops.

A fantastic holiday

  • 4 of 5

The taxi was organised for us by the Ellis's, so the taxi driver knew exactly where we were staying. On arrival, the house was just as described, clean and airy. The garden surrounding the house was lovely, and we spent many hours watching the various birds, like grackles, humming birds and watching out for the daily visit of the monkeys passing through. The property was well looked after by Claudette, who came in regularly to change bedding, etc., and Andrew, who organised the hire car and answered our many questions. The pool was wonderful, and people came in to clean it every couple of days. The beds were all comfortable and the bathrooms good. The beach is a very nice five minute walk away.

Perfect villa

  • 5 of 5

We were two couples traveling together. This villa was perfect for that. We could easily walk to the beach, while others stayed behind enjoying the pool and grounds. . Mullins beach is the closest beach, but a short walk on the beach takes you to quiet and serene Gibbs Bay. That was our favorite. At the end of Mullins road we stopped at a food truck to pick up a delicious lunch. Andrew could not have been more helpful, and we did take advantage of his cooking, which was also wonderful and so nice to eat overlooking the pool. Claudette also was very helpful and graciously responded to all of our requests. The house was as advertised, Simon and Sarah responded to all of my questions quickly. We highly recommend

it. Barbados is easy to get around, people are friendly, there's lots to see and do(gardens, caves, churches, rum, pottery workshops,

sailing, ) and you can't beat the weather. One night we had dinner at Bombas Restaurant, right on the beach and an easy walk or drive. The food was really good. And you can buy beautiful African jewelry as well..

Fantastic family villa in perfect location

  • 5 of 5

Treetops is a very comfortable family villa ideally located on the west coast with easy 5 minute walking access to Mullins Beach which is perfect for swimming, sunbathing and dining at the excellent Mullins Beach Bar. In my view this is the best beach on the island. It is sheltered and has a shallow shelf which makes it ideal for children. They have live music on Sunday nights with a band playing as the sun goes down. We also found waterspouts readily available at Mullins beach with "Just Chillin", a boat run by a man named Ian (typically 275 Barbados Dollars to hire Ian and his boat for an hour to take you to see the Turtles/waterski/snorkel etc. The location of Treetops means you have easy access to the entire west coast including beaches and a whole raft of fantastic restaurants. Everything you could need is within 10 mins in a hire car (which the owners provide very reasonably) and much of what you would most likely need is far closer. The villa has a lovely private garden and good sized pool. There are three air conditioned bedrooms (one double and two twins). The staff are helpful and courteous. We travelled with our three children an found Treetops to be ideal. Whilst on the island we looked at a few nearby alternatives to see if there was anything we might prefer for next year but there was not which included far more expensive options such as Royal Westmorland. To eat out, try The Fishpot to the north of Mullins or the famous Lone Star to the South, the food and service at both was top notch. Finally, as a great experience, within 5 mins drive of Treetops is the Weston Fish Market from where you can buy fresh fish literally straight off the boat at a very reasonable price to cook on the gas BBQ at Treetops; we tried Tuna one day and Billfish (akin to swordfish) another. Enjoy Treetops!
