Another beautiful vacation at Moosehead Lake
Nice private location. Attentive and accommodating owner was very easy to work with. He reached out with information about weather conditions with approaching hurricane and offered to adjust our dates because we were the last to use the rental for the season. Met very nice neighbors. Could hear the loons from the cabin! Everything needed for a good stay was there including clear instructions. We've been visiting the area for over 30 years and have always enjoyed our time at Moosehead Lake. This year was no exception. Thank you!

Clean tucked away cabin
Neighborhood was great. Quiet. Could take a short walk or drive down road to lake and sit on benches. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We did not stay much inside. We liked the enclosed front porch. The bed was comfortable, but watch your toes on bed frame. The showers were great. The kitchen was nice with being open to dining. We didn’t use living room, too much beauty around area. The area to the west of Moosehead Lake is beautiful driving to Rockland, Jackman and Canada. If looking for Moose drive an hour before sunset cautiously. Also suggest if you drive the east side of Moosehead Lake take paper maps or offline GPS map. The roads are logging roads and there is no signal for maps. Eat at Kelly’s Landing. Great seafood chowder crab cakes and stuffed haddock. Eat at the pizza shop in town to go. Take sandwich on road trips. They have great breakfast sandwiches too.

Wonderful Cabin Close to the WATER
Really enjoyed the cabin. Saw hummingbirds, turkeys, and many of birds from the screened in porch. Cabin is close enough to the water with a community dock area so we were able to kayak each day. Cabin was very clean and well stocked for a relaxing stay.

Native Mainers familiar with the area

Why they chose this property

What's so great about this place is it's private location with lots of room for parking and playing. Greenville has lots of ATV trails and allows them to be driven downtown. (We do not have direct access) Friendly people and a hometown atmosphere with lots to do. This is a comfortable, relaxing house with a bathroom upstairs and down. Lots to do outdoors and a screened in porch too. The best of Maine at an affordable price. Lots of wildlife to see-deer and turkeys often are seen on the road or even in the driveway

What makes this property unique

Plenty of parking for ATVs and snowmobiles: close to the lake and close to town, yet plenty of privacy.
