Simple, peaceful and homely

  • 4 of 5

The house was comfortable and within a wonderful setting in a small village at the end of the valley. The narrow valley with steep sides produced a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere which was reinforced by the welcome afforded us by our hosts, Barbara and Stephane. They were able to provide us with information about the immediate surroundings and Somiedo in general.

Beautiful cottage in natural park

  • 5 of 5

We spent 5 nights in this lovely cottage in the Somiedo natural park in Asturias.

It's a beutifully furnished house with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. It is cosy and well-equipped for cooking etc.

Barbara and Stephane are really lovely hosts who gave us plenty of tips for visits in Somiedo and Asturias in general.

It is a beautiful part of the world, with great walks from the cottage as well as in the surrounding area.

We could not fault a thing and really hope to come back - you can't go wrong with choosing this place.

Pour les amoureux de la nature montagnarde calme et sauvage

  • 4 of 5

Merci !!

Belle maison rustique au calme

  • 4 of 5

Paradise

  • 5 of 5

This house is perfect for a relaxing stay. Tucked away on the edge of a quiet village, all you hear is nature - birds, water, wind in the trees. It's a great base from which to explore the rest of Somiedo, the neighbouring Natural Parks, or to drop down to the coast on easy roads to eat fresh fish and seafood. We had 10 memorable days in the house and could happily have stayed forever. The house is beautiful, inside and out, well-equipped and comfortable. On the cooler evenings we lit the fire and appreciated the solid build of this old house. Barbara and Stephane are the kindest hosts - interesting, knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you so much!
