About this property

Lighthouse is a comfortable apartment, located on the ground floor of a villa inhabited by the owners and is located about 700 meters from the sea, in one of the most beautiful and known areas of Syracuse, the Arenella. There are both beaches with fine sand that rocks to meet all needs. At about 3 km you will find the beautiful protected marine area of Plemmirio, where you can snorkel, or even dive enthusiasts, and admire the magnificent backdrops with many species of fish. For any need, about 4 km, there is Cassibile, a small village with shops, supermarkets, pharmacy, bank, post office, restaurants.
In addition to a holiday of relaxation and sea, you can easily combine the cultural holiday.
In Syracuse, which is about 8 km, you can visit:
- Greek Theater and Archaeological Zone: a return to the glorious past of ancient Greece.
-The island of Ortigia: the oldest part of the city, full of palaces and ancient monuments where culture, history and the sea blend, with lots of small shops and characteristic restaurants. To be visited both day and night.
-Man of Ortigia: Unesco Heritage, located in the beautiful square.
Also you can easily reach the beautiful baroque cities of Noto (20Km), Modica (50Km), Scicli (60Km) until you reach the suggestive Ragusa Ibla (50km).
But also small areas but features like: the wildlife oasis of Vendicari, the small fishing village of Marzamemi and the spacious beaches of San Lorenzo.
The apartment is furnished with care, can accommodate up to 6 people and consists of: a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a living room-kitchen with two double sofa beds. The kitchen is equipped with oven, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, toaster, washing machine, air conditioning.
Free Wi-Fi available.
The house is surrounded by a large garden with private pool, deckchairs available to guests, shower-pool, veranda with outdoor dining table, barbecue.
English and French are spoken.
The owners are at your disposal to make your stay at the Lighthouse home to your liking.

Lovely apartment

The owners are fantastic people, very helpful and kind. We received true italian hospitality. Anna gave us lots of useful local information as she speaks perfect english. Property has shallow swimming pool so it was perfect for our kids and us as well.

A wonderful family stay

We spent 19 nights in the rental of Anna and Manuela. The pictures on the site correspond to what we discovered and I will even say that the real rental is even better. Perfect cleanliness, bed linen and towels were great (many towels are available, a plus), well equipped kitchen, the exteriors are superb. The pool is a marvel. Perfect water, swimming pool cleaned daily. We had at our disposal many deckchairs and also a table / chairs and a rocking chair. The owners are adorable, always listening to us and also giving us visiting tips or restaurant addresses. The rental is very well located: the beach is 10 minutes maximum by foot and 2 minutes by car. Thank you again for everything Anna, Antonio and Manuela. Our stay with you was fabulous.
