On a beautiful spot in the friendly holiday park Feriënpark Frankenau is your 6 person holiday home in Sauerland. With 450 meters of private land, at the edge of the park against the Kellerwald, you are free. Your holiday home is equipped with every convenience. So you can relax and enjoy your well deserved holiday! You can enjoy the peace, while the children have fun in the playground or at the stream in the adjacent forest. A highchair and cot are ready for the smallest ones. So you can enjoy undisturbed in the hammock, outside dining at the picnic table or enjoy reading at the garden set.

Because the holiday home is built against a hill, the ground floor has two different levels. With 3 fully furnished bedrooms the house can accommodate up to 6 people. All rooms have their own sink and are electrically heated. The cozy wood stove provides extra warmth and cosiness. Furthermore, your detached holiday home has a homely living room, a spacious dining area, a balcony and a fully equipped open kitchen.

Satellite TV, and water and are included in the price quoted. The final cleaning of € 60.00 are separated and must be paid locally during your stay. As well as the bed linen (purchase required), a € 8.00 per set will be charged.

In the nearby nature park Kellerwald Edersee you will find an unlimited range of recreational activities. Hills (up to 841 meters), forest and vast pastures characterize the beauty and variety of the Sauerland landscape. The Hessisches-Bergland also offers beautiful areas for your activities and excursions. In summer, for example, you can take walks and bike rides in the natural landscape. In winter the ski areas Willingen, Winterberg and Züschen are very popular. Of course there are also beautiful parks, museums, castles, monuments and other places of interest in the area.

In the town of Frankenau you will find a bakery, a butcher and a supermarket. There are several restaurants where you can eat.

Das Ferienhaus war an sich in Ordnung. Allerdings war es nicht besonders sauber. Für 60€ Endreinigung erwarte ich, dass zumindest unter den Betten auch mal gesaugt/gefegt wird und auch das Geschirr/Besteck sauber ist. Leider war dies nicht der Fall... Ansonsten ist das Haus super hellhörig, was uns allerdings nicht weiter gestört hat. Die Lage ist wirklich schön und man hat einen schönen Blick in den Wald. Generell war in dem Haus alles vorhanden, was man braucht, nur mussten wir vieles an Geschirr noch einmal spülen, da es nicht sauber im Schrank stand. Die Beschreibung auf der Seite fanden wir nicht so optimal. Wir haben zum Beispiel unsere eigene Bettwäsche mitgebracht, um uns das Geld zu sparen und vor allem auch, weil wir alle Allergiker sind. Trotzdem mussten wir einen Teil bezahlen. Und es war wohl schon ein Entgegenkommen, dass wir nicht den vollen Preis bezahlen mussten. Außerdem haben wir den Spielplatz vergebens gesucht und die Rezeption hatte leider immer zu. Den Fernseher konnten wir auch nicht zum laufen bringen (was an sich für uns nicht schlimm ist, aber natürlich trotzdem erwähnt werden sollte) und alle Beschreibungen waren in irgendwelchen Schubladen und auf niederländisch. Ansonsten wurden wir in der Mitte der Woche von einer sehr netten Frau besucht (Gitte war meine ich der Name), die sich wohl um alles kümmert. Die war wirklich nett und dort haben wir dann auch die Endreinigung und Bettwäsche gezahlt. Für uns war es ein schöner Urlaub, allerdings sollte in dem Haus mal eine komplette Grundreinigung stattfinden ;)

Rustikales Häuschen am Wald- und Ferienpark-Rand

Ganz okay, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, funktionale Ausstattung, sehr hellhörig. Nicht alle Kosten im Angebot aufgelistet (Bettwäsche, Kaution, Endreinigung) Sehr nette Dame (Gitta) beim Empfang und während des Aufenthaltes (hat sogar Kirschen und etwas zum Spielen für die Kinder und Süßigkeiten vorbei gebracht) :) Alles in allem sind wir sehr zufrieden

Schönes Häuschen mit Blick in den Wald, in der Küche istxalles vorhanden. Die Ausstattung ist moderner als in snderen Häusern des Feriendorfes. Kommen gern wieder!
