We are fully committed to making sure our house is clean and safe for our guests. Fully equipped kitchen, beautiful "beachy" decor, large shower bathroom, with indoor and outdoor dining options. Enjoy watching sunsets or the Orcas if you're lucky, beach combing, or bring your kayaks or boat, paddle board or jet skis - the boat ramp is a short walk down the beach. BBq your catch of the day - fishing, clamming, oysters all an option. Cozy up to the indoor or outdoor fireplaces, watch a movie, read a book, play a game or work on a puzzle - it's your choice. Venture into town for dinner & a movie. Check out the local ice creamery, the sweet shop or one of the many local small businesses. Traditional grocery stores close by too. Feel like something more? Wineries, hiking, golfing, antique shops all a short distance away.

Cute little house on the water

Cute little house on the water. We had a nice quiet 3 night stay and enjoyed our time there. It was very cold that weekend but we stayed cozy with the firewood supplied by the owners. Would love to come back to check it out in the warmer months!

Love Shelton

This home was exactly what we were looking for. It exceeded our expectations with its coziness and adorable costal decor. We were all very comfortable with the beds for the adults and the bunk beds for the kiddos! We loved sitting outside on the deck, walking along the beach and sitting by the fire late at night! And we especially loved the visit from the sea lions. Great central location for the trips we had planned from home. This home in Shelton is just lovely and we are so glad we were able to visit!

Just right, on the water, really enjoyed it

This was a great place to stay and just hang out for several days. The location right on the waterfront was great for water sports (we kayaked and paddle boarded every day; we brought our own gear, but they have a couple life jackets that we used), as well as just hanging around (we spent hours every day at the picnic table overlooking the water. Kitchen had everything we needed to be able to eat and hang out here (it's a bit of a drive to town) and not feel like we were missing everything. If you didn't bring your own, there's a solid selection of books, games, and puzzles, as well as an internet-connected TV. We appreciated the air conditioning a few times because it got fairly warm during the day (mid-80s) and several of us like to sleep in a chilly house. In all, a great week here.

Birthday weekend for Me!

Initially 3 of us. My spouse, sissy & myself. Then we learned dtr & grd kids available. So happy to have the 3rd bedroom with ample sleeping accommodations. Twin over double, with double trundle under double!!! Perfect! We brought kayaks, and I learned how to paddle a kayak at 53. Weee!! Beautiful view!! Friendly Harbor Seals, Galaxy whale patrolling and surfacing. Well stocked kitchen, laundry, ample towels. Beds comfy. Fab! Fab! Fab!!

We are Northwest natives who love our little corner of the world. We have 2 sons - our eldest has recently graduated from one of Washington's finest and our youngest is heading to Purdue this fall. We enjoy travelling and have lived overseas. We frequently entertain our friends and family and love to share our beach house with them.

Why they chose this property

We walked into this house and immediately knew this was the one! It has always been our dream to have a beach house - we are pinching ourselves and counting every blessing still not quite believing it is ours. We are making memories and creating a family home in this house. It is perfect for us.

What makes this property unique

When we sat down and put pen to paper to make the list of specifics we couldn't have found anything more perfect: no more than 2 hours away, west facing, on salt water, 3+ bedrooms, great outdoor spaces and a small yard, in a neighborhood but private, kitchen space that you could actually use and an open floor plan. You can easily see the kids on the beach while you're on the deck, no rip tides just gentle lapping waves. Our beach provides the ideal location to drop anchor. Utilize the nearby boat ramp and row into shore - or swim if your willing to brave Puget Sound waters.
