This beautifully appointed Sparrow Pond cottage has been renovated to feature an open kitchen with island seating. The spacious living room offers a flat screen TV and plenty of comfortable seating. Along with the adjoining sunroom overlooking the lagoon, the main living space is bright and comfortable. An intimate dining area makes every meal feel special. 2 of the 3 bedrooms boast King beds and each of the spacious bedrooms has its own private bathroom, updated with tile showers.

Watch boats go by in the far distance and enjoy the ocean breezes. This cottage is NOT ocean front, but you can see the water about 0.2 miles away.

Clean, quiet, beautiful

This property was perfect for me and my family! First and foremost it was very clean and cozy. It had plenty of space to cook, have family dinners or watch tv/movies at night! The sun room is where my wife and I spent most of our time watching the sun rise while drinking coffee or winding down at night with a drink. We grilled out one night on back deck which also shares the beautiful views and has plenty of space for family and friends to gather. Beach is a short walk away. Walking and bike trails into town or "The Nest" where you can play hoops, little kids can run around or you can grab a sandwich/drink. I would highly recommend this place to family, friends or anyone for that matter. Thanks a ton!

Great & Beautiful

We had a great time at this house with its views of the ocean! It was bright & clean and very close to the beach & pool. We shopped at the Freshfields, rode bikes & took and rented a boat during our stay! It was wonderful and will be back.

Great house. Lovely, comfortable and well equipped . Very clean and very nicely decorated . Deck was wonderful with great view of lagoon . Well located, close to beach, quiet and peaceful. Very responsive and helpful contact person. She was wonderful . Had a great time and would definitely consider booking again in the future . Saw some great birds from the deck .

.Sparrow Pond cottage

The master bedroom has a skylight window above the bed. This makes it difficult to sleep with a bright moon or early sunrise. The oven is also very small. We had a problem with a swarming flying ant infestation the first couple of days but when we notified the property manager an exterminator quickly resolved the issue. We enjoyed the view from the sunroom overlooking the pond.

We purchased our cottage on Kiawah Island in summer of 2005, and I began renting it on VRBO during the weeks we were not able to enjoy Kiawah ourselves. In 2007, a friend on nearby Seabrook Island asked me if I would help her rent her villa also. Since I loved helping people plan their vacations in the area, I obtained my South Carolina Property Manager's License and began a business - Kiawah By Owner.
