This recently remodeled 2/2 condo on the 17th floor will exceed all expectations. Balconies are located on both sides of the building allowing breathtaking views from every room. Take in the sites of the white sand beaches, calm ocean waters and beautiful sunsets from the living room, dining room, kitchen and front balcony. The master and guest bedrooms have direct island views with a huge balcony allowing you to enjoy the sunrise in the morning and the twinkle of the island lights at night. This unit has floor to ceiling glass sliding doors in all rooms allowing for endless unobstructed views and natural light.
The condo has been updated in a comfortable and classic beach house style to help you relax and fully embrace island life and the peacefulness of Marco Island. The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a deep farm style sink, and an artistic ocean blue tile backsplash. Both bathrooms have been completely updated with granite vanities and glass shower doors. The master bedroom and ensuite bathroom are decorated in a Tommy Bahama style, while the guest bedroom, guest bathroom and other living areas have a more traditional beach theme using soft blues, whites and coral, making it feel like the beach continues right into your island retreat.
When you first walk into the unit, you will notice the “fishing nook.” This was created as a place to conveniently store beach bags, flip flops, beach carts, fishing rods, damp towels, sand toys, etc. The dining table is bar height with six seats and allows you to enjoy the ocean views while eating indoors or playing a board game on a rainy afternoon in the summer. Relax from your favorite spot on the white linen couch while watching the 55 inch Sony 4K Ultra HD TV or scrolling the internet (cable and wifi are included) and catch a glimpse of the ocean each time you turn your head. When designing this unit, we truly had “perfect beach retreat” in mind with every decision. We hope you will find our Marco Island vacation condo as welcoming and enjoyable as we do.
The Admiralty House is an elegant building with friendly staff and on-site security from 9AM-5PM. The lobby is very welcoming and a nice place to relax while waiting for friends or family to arrive. The unit has one assigned, covered parking spot conveniently located in the first row of assigned parking spots closest to the building. There are short-term and long-term spots if additional parking is needed. The property is nicely maintained with strict no pet and restricted smoking policies. There are only six units on each floor and two elevators making for short wait times. Each floor has a free washer and dryer. Garbage and recycling is also on each floor. The gorgeous pool area has 2 grills, which allow for relaxing evenings of cooking out while watching the sun set. Other building amenities include 2 tennis courts, bike storage (there are nearby bike rental shops), lawn area with chickee huts and lounge chairs, social room with games and books, and of course, a wonderful pool overlooking the beach.
The building sits on an ideal beach location. If you are looking for action, Tigertail is a public beach with water sports rentals, such as kayaks and paddleboards, and only a ¼ mile walk. Residents Beach is in the other direction and also only about ¼ mile down the beach. A little further down the beach, roughly ¾ miles, is the Marriot, which has several restaurants and a beach bar. Marriot is also a good location for water sports and activities. However, if you are looking for more peace and quiet, our own backyard is one of the least crowded areas; at times you will feel like you are on your own private beach.
The Admiralty House is walking distance to some of our favorite restaurants (Joey’s Pizza, Doreen’s Cup of Joe and Empire Bagel Factory). Many more restaurants and other activities are only a short drive away. Mini golf, movie theater, happy hours, live music, frequent local events, shopping, ice cream parlors, bike rentals, parasailing, jet ski rentals, fishing, boating—the island truly has everything you need for a perfect vacation. However, for those of you that are staying longer and might experience island fever, Naples is a bustling small city only 30 minutes away, Fort Myers is just a bit north of Naples, and Fort Lauderdale, Miami and the Florida keys are an easy day trip away. Marco Island is truly an amazing getaway any time of year.
