About this property

Luxury what ever the weather

This bespoke timber frame building was specifically designed for the holiday market.  Imagine a sumptuous high-end hotel suite glazed on two sides.  Then include a well-equipped fitted kitchen, add on an attached covered deck with semi sunken Hot Tub.  Place inside a private garden with tended lawn, climbing roses and wildflower area.  Throw in a handmade slate alfresco dining set and brick built charcoal grill.   Then raise it up to maximise the 180 degrees of uninterrupted country side views, now your getting the idea.

Inside you'll find contemporary open plan living space with dining table and chairs and fully equipped kitchen.  A large luxurious sheep’s wool rug is placed in front of the 4Kw wood burning stove.  The 4K smart TV effortlessly swings down from head height to tilt into perfect position in front of the ample corner sofa.  This room is flooded with light from glazed walls on two sides, with two sets of large sliding doors and a glazed front door.  The comfortable bedroom is fitted with a large double wardrobe, dressing table, 4K smart TV and sumptuous king sized bed.  Great care is taken to source a top quality mattress to help enhance a good nights sleep.  This room also enjoys floor to ceiling windows with sliding door.  Guests can take in the view and relax in the knowledge of complete privacy without even venturing out from under the duvet.   The on suit shower room has bespoke designer feel with apple blossom decor inside the walk in shower.

All doors lead out on to either the patio running the full length of the building or the covered deck.  This area is equipped with a semi sunken hot tub, teak chairs and table and one of several comfortable padded benches.  Here you are in a perfect position to immerse yourself in the peace and quiet while soaking up the 180 degrees of countryside views whatever the weather.  The outside is sympathetically lit allowing guests to extend there days way after the sun has gone down late into the evening without having to retreat indoors.

The private enclosed garden features a comfortably sized lawn, barbecue and outside eating area, a variety of flowering plants and a secret wild garden with seating under a beech and silver birch trees. A truly lovely setting for those who want to relax in the sun or nestle into the dappled shade with a good book.

Relaxing
When we arrived, we was greeted with a roaring log fire and a chocolate cake, which was a lovely touch after a long drive on a dreary day. The cabin was nicely decorated, and well equipped for our needs and the hot tub was a lively addition. Just want we wanted and needed. The owners, Corin and Rob, were on hand should we have needed, and nothing was too much of a problem. Would definitely return in the future. 😀

Luxurious and peaceful
Excellent cabin with all facilities required, bed very comfortable and the hot tub was the cherry on the cake. Lots of pubs nearby for the food and drinks we used the Beambridge on 2 occasions, beautiful food. We visited Beer on the south coast, Dunster Castle on the north coast, Tiverton Castle about 25 minutes by car and Sheppy's cider farm was also near by. The accommodation is very private and not overlooked but the owners are nearby if required. All in all a great place to stay and would definitely recommend

Tranquil and Restful
This was a lovely location, tranquil and peaceful. Although far from noise, shopping and other facilities wre a short drive away. The cabin was well supplied, and the hot tub was very good indeed. We had some very hot weather, and while we were out a Dyson cooler arrived at the door - it was very welcome! Overall a lovely stay.

What makes this property unique

Eco credentials

Here at edenescapes we have taken various steps to reduce our carbon foot print and increase biodiversity.

During the construction or refurbishment of the two properties care was take to use local materials and labour wherever possible. All walls, loft spaces and floors (where possible) are fully insulated and low energy lighting installed throughout.

Both properties have been fitted with a 4Kw solar PV systems, they are hidden out of site but go a long way towards providing the energy needs for your holiday.

Both properties enjoy fully enclosed private gardens with the luxury of a lawn, however additional areas with within or adjacent to have been set aside as wild areas, to encourage wild flowers and other bio diversity.

A variety of feeders are used all year round to help support the wide variety of bird life.

Several waterbutts have been fitted to provide the majority of the water required for the gardens.

All wood for the log burning stoves sourced, processed and seasoned on site, with constant replanting.

We realise this is an on going process, we hope to install super efficient heating systems and or thermal stores with in the next 24 months. Add domestic batteries to store the solar energy for use during the night. Increase wild flower areas and even add a couple bee hives (well away from both properties) in the near future.
