With the local supermarket across the street and a bus stop only a stones throw away, you have everything at your finger tips allowing you to plan less and do more.

The contained ITEK designed kitchen benefits from a Bosch oven, Bosch fridge/freezer and extractor, and the living room boasts ample storage to keep organized.

This affordable and lovely flat offers some of the best value of any on the market in Gibraltar. It is a well designed property that will make you feel at home straight away. Simple in layout and only one of 6 apartments in this Taylor Woodrow development to enjoy a balcony with clean views of the North face of the Rock of Gibraltar which gets lit up at night and makes a brilliant back drop from the couch.

This apartment is only a short walk from the airport and offers fantastic value, private and secure parking, whilst situated in a very convenient location to take day trips to Spain or walk to town, the Marina or Eastern Beach:

Location (walking) ---- 5 minutes to Eastern Beach continue for 15 minutes onto Catalan Bay ---- 8 minutes to Marina Bay,(the heart of Gibraltar's newest bars and restaurants) and the Gibraltar Gala Casino ---- 5 minutes to the runway ---- 12 minutes to the border (Spain) to enjoy a night out in La Linea de la Conception ----12 minutes to the Gibraltar International Airport ---- 15 minute walk to the center of Gibraltar; casemates (the start of Gibraltar's Main Street and shopping center).

Fantastic Apartment *****

Clean well equipped apartment which far exceeded our expectations with great views of the Rock from the veranda. Situated in a good location within walking distance of marinas, beaches, shops and of course the Rock. The only downside of the holiday was that it was too short - a good excuse for another holiday in Gib. we hope.

The advert for this studio was misleading in the facilities listed on offer. For those of you that depend on these, then the following were simply NOT available: NO bottled water, NO hand soap, NO coffee maker, NO blender, NO freezer (which might be a problem for long term renters if they want to stock up; there was an under-the-worktop, standard size refrigerator containing a small ice-making/freezer compartment), NO mini refrigerator, NO video player, and NO video library (just one DVD available). I really needed hand soap as I didn’t pack any. I also love real coffee first thing in the morning. I was stuck in the studio for 2 days during high winds and torrential rain, and I was gasping for a coffee and had to make do with instant, yuk! Although the tap water is drinkable, it’s not filtered, so I prefer bottled water.

I paid in good faith for these listed facilities so I’m a bit surprised that they weren’t available. I wasn’t shown the parking spot so do not know if that was available or not.

Mark, the owner, was a polite young man. He met me at the studio, which I found was modern, bright and spacious, with lots of storage. It was well designed with everything strategically placed, including the hair dryer which was in the shoe-cupboard next to a mirror and wall socket. The bed was comfy and the balcony was most welcome, with a sea-view beyond the cemetery and a good view of the rock itself. I loved the separate kitchen, so much better than the open-plan type, although the lighting was dim in there, and the light in the cooker hood/extractor didn’t work at all. However, the tray and grill pan were greasy and dirty so I didn’t use them. Also, the fridge had not been cleaned out and had crumbs in the salad drawer, so again, I didn’t use the drawer. There wasn’t a milk pan/saucepan, which would have been useful, and no kitchen scissors, so you might need to bring your own.

There were plenty of TV channels, English, Spanish etc. The studio is well located for easy access to the airport, beaches and the town centre. My partner and I were going to book a 3-month stay from March onwards but for the lack of those much needed facilities…………

Owner's Response: Hello, Thank you for your review and kind words regarding the apartment…I am pleased you enjoyed the layout of the apartment, comfy bed and views from the balcony. I will review the advert as we have never had a blender nor coffee maker in the apartment. We do however have a Bosch fridge with small freezer, new microwave and suitable clean pots and pans and many utensils. The location of the building/apartment benefits from a store directly across the road, which is open until 9pm daily, approximately 364 days a year. This is extremely helpful should you need bottled water (30p) or other basics for your stay. Normally I will leave a bottle of water in the fridge and on occasion have left wine, beer, cookies, chocolates, milk, tea and coffee although this is admittedly random and sorry you did not benefit from this, on this occasion. In the hallway cupboard, there is always an array of useful products including soap, shampoo, deodorant, hairspray, laundry soap etc, much of which has been left by other guests. I tend to clear this out although leave useful and typically expensive items, which I feel, will save guests some money (eg suntan lotion, hair spray). The apartment is normally cleaned by myself and presented in a clean and orderly fashion with the windows cleaned, balcony swept and mopped and although the fridge would have been cleaned out, I expect there may have been some crumbs under the crisper. Sorry. This has since been cleaned including the oven. In the apartment to clarify, there are many books, binoculars, a video DVD player (which is normally used as a radio), one DVD, cable TV and high speed internet. Fabulous Apartment

Clean and tidy apartment close to town but in a quiet area. Balcony view of The Rock of Gibraltar. Grocery shop across the road. Bed very comfortable.

Would highly recommend this property and would book again on my next visit to Gibraltar.

Absolutely perfect!

Mark was very easy to deal with and very helpful in assisting us as we had to bring a mobility scooter with us. This apartment is perfect as everywhere is level. Not one single step to negotiate. The apartment is well laid out and mark has thought of everything and nothing was too much trouble for him. The furniture was lovely and comfortable and the balcony a real bonus. It's location, for us, was ideal and the rock views, particularly at night,,were amazing. We have returned to this property since December 2014 and having found him, would always contact Mark in the first instance when returning to Gibraltar.

Excellent for the Gibraltar visit.

Excellent accomodation in a location that provides access to all tourist attractions in Gibraltar. Use of the public transport and use of timetable from tourist centre in casemates is a must. Will be using the flat again this year several times when visiting family. Thanks Mark had a great week visiting family and friends.

Lovely, clean, comfortable apartment

We had a good feeling even before we arrived in Gibraltar as Mark, the owner was so nice and helpful in all our correspondence. He arranged to met us on arrival at the studio and told us how to get to casemates, the marina and the nearby beaches. If there is anything you need to know/ask, Mark leaves a contact number. The studio is really comfortable and well equipped...everything you need is provided. We loved every minute of our week in Gibraltar. You can walk to/from the airport in just over 10 minutes and the east beach is only about 8 minutes away. We enjoyed the restaurant in the casino, which we visited several times. Also the cable car up the rock is a good day out. We highly recommend this lovely studio. Jim and Janie, Ayrshire, Scotland

Simple and ample for any visitors with clean toilet, extractor fan, large mirror, sink and comfortable shower with good pressure. The store across the road provides almost anything else you may need and is open 7 days a week until 9pm!

When the bed is up, the room turns into a spacious and uncluttered living and dining room. It is very easy to use and makes this studio apartment seem much larger than it's 34 m2 footprint.

There is a DVI cable and audio plug hooked into the 42 inch LG TV, ready for those who may choose to bring their laptop and a selection of music and movies. The DVD player is quite simple to use with a built in radio. The TV is hooked into the local Gibraltar cable network offering some 40 stations for those nights you want to put your feet up and relax. A heater is provided in the winter which turns the warm room into a toasty oasis, in the summer the apartment keeps quite cool as it is East facing and offers a constant breeze when the front door is open slightly. This apartment welcomes smokers to use the balcony or enjoy an electronic cigarette ( indoors free of odour and tar. A built-in clothes hanger is on the balcony to dry clothes making them naturally Gibraltar fresh.
