About the property

Hello and welcome to this gorgeous flat in the Heart of London!

This lovely flat was originally designed for one or two people.

Four people can fit if they are willing to squeeze around each other.

Six people can fit too if they accept to really squeeze tightly around each other.

Whilst this lovely flat was conceived and built in a contemporary and functional style, the exposed brickwork of an original wall confers a warm and homely feeling to this unique place.

Apart from the secluded, well looked after shared patio garden, this flat is totally self contained, and is accessed by its own independent entrance.

Generous insulation and modern central heating make this space warm in winter and cool in summer.

The sleeping area is on a mezzanine floor. The remaining area has a wonderfully high ceiling reaching over 5 metres at its highest point and is well lit by large skylights.

The shower room is fully tiled, spacious and bright.

The sleek galley-style kitchen has a 4 m long worktop, double sink, double oven, microwave oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer and plenty of cupboard space available. It is well equipped with cutlery, crockery and quality utensils.

There are two single beds in the sleeping area which can either be used separately or put together to form a 1,4 x 2 m double bed. The double bed takes up the full width of the mezzanine, so access will be from one end of the bed.

Any guest after the second will sleep on mattresses made up as beds and laid on the floor either next to each other on the mezzanine or on the ground floor at your choice. If you are in six, effectively, four people will sleep in two double beds.

This smart mezzanine flat is located amidst a mix of private and local authority houses.

The area is very close to the centre of London and well served with bus routes to the main attractions. The closest bus stop only 200 m away. Marylebone underground and railway station can be reached with a 5 min walk. Baker Street and Edgware Road underground stations are 10 min walk away. All these stations are in pricing zone 1.

Should you be too tired to cook, you will never be short of options for places to eat in the West End or in the nearby St John’s Wood High Street.

The flat is also very close to Regents Canal, where it is nice to stroll, jog or cycle all the way to Little Venice and Paddington one way or Camden and beyond the other way. You can relax in the lovely open spaces of wonderful Regents Park again only 5 min away and enjoy the views of the boating lake, the rose garden, London Zoo, all surrounded by magnificent John Nash designed terraces.

Also 5 to 10 mins away are Church Street market with the famous Alfie’s antique store, Madame Tussaud’s waxwork museum and Lord’s cricket ground.

Bucking Palace and the House of Parliament are respectively two and three tube stops away.

I live next door to the flat and therefore should something go wrong you will not have to go too much out of your way to find me.

The rent includes all the bills, the taxes and an unlimited, super fast, optic fiber WIFI connection.

Check in time is flexible . We need to clean between guests. You are welcome to arrive early and if the flat is ready you will be able to access it. If it is not ready yet, you are welcome to come along, drop off your luggage and have a cup of tea. We can then let you have the key so that you will be able to return at your convenience once the cleaning will have been completed.

Set in historic Westminster this part of London is stylish and classy, known best to native Londoners, a hidden gem with first rate restaurants and shops. The buildings are historic, dating from the Georgian era, elegant, with the famous cream coloured John Nash architecture in abundance.

A short walk from the apartment lies Regent's Park, famous for its formal gardens, boating lake and play parks. During summer time the open air theatre stages productions and concerts. Heading south takes you to Oxford Street and Mayfair. For families the choice of activities is endless, with world class museums, shopping and parks. The Sherlock Holmes Museum is within walking distance or perhaps you prefer mingling with the stars at the world famous Madame Tussauds.

Nice but not what was expecting

Booked apartment as needed a few days base while in London with a colleague. Just as well we are both comfortable around each other, as the sleeping space is quite 'intimate' to say the least and fortunately was only for 1 night both of us, remainder on my own.

While the flat is compact and space has been used to best it can, with amazing bathroom..... How it can fit 6 people, is beyond me.

There are 2 single beds pushed together but can easily be separated and put along one wall, but not much other space on mezzanine level.

The narrow bunk bed type steps that lead up to it are quite steep but being agile there is no problem.

Open long kitchen is nice, but not room for more than 2 people to 'sit' in living room area. However, having said that, it did the job for me being on my own and location was good. Near supermarkets, tube and buses.

Lovely little outside area off kitchen, but if someone from next door is sitting in room, their window is part of 'garden' so no privacy if you want to enjoy a cup of coffee out there. Enrico was pleasant and gave recommendations for food, went through everything in flat and was nice host.

Very nice place to stay in Marylebone

My friends and I had a lovely time staying here for our weekend in London. Enrico was very thorough in making sure we understood the routes to the train & tube station, which was fairly simple and just a 5-10 minute walk. Very simple flat, narrow stair case up to the loft where the beds are. Unfortunately we could not bring our suitcases up to loft because the floors were too delicate for the wheels. All in all a very nice flat and a nice and convenient place to stay in London. Affordable for 3 of us!

lovely stay

We had a lovely stay! The property is small but very well arranged, it's modern and clean.

It's close enough from central London so we could walk to visit a lot of the places, and if you don't want to walk, the tube and the bus are close.

We didn't met the owner but He was very helpful emailing us all the informations We needed to make our stay easier.

I would definitely recommend the flat and would come back !

Ultra-clean modern small apartment with great host

The apartment is a superbly renovated narrow apartment close the Regents' Canal, just south of Lord's cricket grounds, close to Abbey Road. It is an 8-10 minutes walk to tube, with bus # 139 stopping on road one minute walk away (139 goes Baker Street, Oxford Street, Piccadilly to Trafalgar and on) There are also City-bike stalls close by with great biking opportunities to ride along the canal up to London Zoo and on through Regents' Park or to Camden Town where hundreds of young people hang out on nice afternoons and evenings. The place has a nice kitchen well equipped, fine bathroom and cozy loft for sleeping. The host Enrico, originally from Italy, lives next door and is friendly, helpful and personable.

This place is intended for no more than two people in reasonable physical shape since the stairs to the loft are more like a ship's ladder than a traditional staircase. The place worked well for us for a five night stay. The only minor issue that the place is too small to invite friends over for a drink.

Splendida vacanza a Londra!

Siamo stati a Londra 5 giorni a fine giugno, in 4, due adulti e due bambini di 7 e 12 anni.

L'appartamentino corrisponde perfettamente a quanto in fotografia: pulito e ben attrezzato, se pur forse un po' piccino per quattro persone, ma per pochi giorni e con due bambini è assolutamente vivibile. Da sottolineare solo che due letti sono propriamente dei letti (con reti e materassi), mentre gli altri due sono futon, quindi un po' più scomodi se usati da adulti; non c'è inoltre la lavastoviglie, ma la cucina è comoda per lavare i piatti a mano.

Enrico, ottimo padrone di casa, ci ha accolti con gentilezza, dandoci massima disponibilità e fornendoci informazioni preziose per goderci il soggiorno.

La posizione dell'appartamento è ottimale, perchè è tranquillo e silenzioso di notte, pur essendo in zona 2, quindi centralissimo e vicino ad ogni mezzo di trasporto.

Bellissimi i nostri 'tour' sull'autobus 139 e comodissimo per l'underground, con cui in pochi minuti si arriva ovunque (anche alle due stazioni di Liverpool Street o di Victoria, da cui partono i trenini per Stansted e Gatwick).

Vicini anche i supermercati (Tesco il più vicino).

Insomma, lo consigliamo sicuramente, soprattutto per coppie o per coppie con 1 bambino.

E se mai potremo tornare, sarà da Enrico!

great location, well appointed

Enrico's flat is everything you need for your stay in London. It is well appointed, centrally located (close to 2 tube stops and a few minutes from the nearest bus stop), and Enrico is a wonderful host. We stayed here for 4 nights. Enrico was attentive to all my questions before I even booked, then leading up to the stay he sent clear instructions and helpful information. We were able to check in early and drop off our luggage after an overnight flight. Enrico made sure were knew where everything was and answered any questions we had. While he lives next door, he gave us our privacy and was available if/when we needed his help. He also provided lots of suggestions food-wise and sight-seeing-wise in and around London. I highly recommend the flat, and Enrico is a wonderful host who thoroughly enjoys working with people.
