General:
Located at 12 minutes from Faro airport, the sea, restaurants, the large Mar shopping center (6 min. also known as IKEA), on a hill surrounded by nature, quiet, with 1 large private shaded terrace, ocean view, ideal for 4 people, fully equipped, this house will delight nature and calm lovers. On the about 1 hectare plot (±3 acres), are built 2 houses, the owners ‘one and the house for rent. Both houses, surrounded by the vegetation, are about 25 meters apart.
There is a private access with a dedicated gate. There is a shaded parking nearby the house, on the same level, making it easy for people who have difficulties to walk.
In addition to the 180cm fence that borders the entire grounds, a small fence 60cm high delimits about 200m2 in front of the house. Convenient to delimit a wandering perimeter restricted to pets.
A pétanque court with balls is available free of charge. If you don't know how to play, we can teach you and even play with you.

Heated pool :
The pool is covered with a rolling shelter for safety for children, to stabilize the temperature as well as to avoid leaves and needles from trees.
A heat pump keeps the pool between 32°C and 34°C
As shown in the last photo (Google earth simulation), the pool is built between our own house (at the top of the photo) and the small house for rent (at the bottom of the photo).
Holidaymakers enjoy the pool to themselves as we refrain from using it when they use it.

The house consists of:
- 1 air-conditioned bedroom with 1 large bed of 150cm
- 1 air-conditioned bedroom with 2 beds of 90cm
- 2 bathrooms (2 showers)
- 1 air-conditioned main living room, with a fully equipped American kitchen

Supplies and accessories:
- The doors and windows are double-glazed tilt-and-turn with mosquito nets and blackout curtains.
- Dishes, kitchen utensils, coffee makers (3 including Nespresso)
- Free 80-100Mb/s WiFi, TV-SAT (Portuguese and Spanish channels, French TNT + free foreign channels), washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, combined fridge-freezer.
- Sheets, towels, beach towels are provided
- Supply of baby equipment available on request (see photo to have an idea).

Minimum stay is 7 nights (45 nights between October and March)

Schöne Zeit gehabt

Schöne Unterkunft, tolle Lage. Im Haus war alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Die Zeit im Pool habe ich sehr genossen. Michele und Jean Noel sind sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Danke für die netten Gespräche. Bis zum nächsten mal

La petite maison

Jean-Noel et Michelle sont des hôtes très sympa !!!! Cadre très agréable, petite maison bien équipée, bonne literie Un accueil chaleureux, pleins de bons conseils, de bonnes adresses … Ils nous ont conseillés sur les us et coutumes de l’Algarve , les pièges à éviter etc…. De petits apéros ensemble accompagnés de bavardages et anecdotes, de bons moments 👍 Une adresse que nous recommandons vivement !!

Fantastic experience

The object was sparkling clean the time we moved in. All furniture and equipments in the house were in good condition. The kitchen is quite well equipped (several more knives for cutting might be nice though. 😊). The pool is always clean and a really plus for our kids. Our 7y old boy managed to overcome his fear of water learned swimming properly in the pool during our 2weeks stay😃. The view from the front door of our house is breath taking. Ah right there is even a boule field on the property, which was also loved by our kids. The owner is a nice retired couple and welcomed us personally despite the late time in the night as we arrived. During our stay they have always been very kind and helpful everytime we would need anything. They even gave me a ride to the car rental station. The answer was always quick. They speak English, French, German and Portuguese. We really, really enjoyed our stay. The place is a little bit remote, so you def. Need a car here, with which you can reach everything easily. Thx again Michelle, jean-noel for the wonderful time. The kids are missing you already. 😊

Lovely little villa but mislead to what was advertised the bq belonged to owners and had to ask to use it pool was right in front of owners patio was a bit off putting English television was just sky news

Excellent séjour

Maison confortable dans une belle propriété. Les propriétaires dans la maison voisine, sont très prévenants. Nous avons profité avec plaisir de la piscine, du site et du village d'Almancil, proche de la mer et de nombreux parcours de golf.
