Great resort, room, and amenities!
We stayed over spring break at the Marriott Surf Club and had a great time. The unit itself was clean and modern. We had a two bedroom unit (one room with a king, the second bedroom with a queen and pullout sofa sleeper). There was a washer/dryer also however we did not use it. The kitchen was well equipped although we just ate breakfast in. This resort is conveniently located and on a great stretch of beach. Two things to note are the "palapa" rental policy (you must prebook those, especially in row 1 and 2 and there is a fee) and the annoying "chair tag"" policy in order to get a chair by the pool. We traveled with another family and our kids ages were 18, 17, 15, and 14. They all found plenty to do and had great fun. This is a great resort for all ages...families, couples, etc. There is a kids pool, 18 and older pool, and a 21 and older pool so it is possible to get away if you do not have small children. Perfect vacation!

The best resort in Aruba. Everything was right there!
We took our family of five. The kids shared the guest room and we had the master bedroom. The water slide keep them busy while we relaxed on lounge chairs or sat at the swim up bar. They had kids activities like contests and hair braiding. They made some friends so was really fun for them. My biggest piece of advice is to get up early if you want to sit by the pool! People come downstairs as early as possible. It can be annoying because they will take chairs and not sit in them for hours. Rant over! You can rent umbrellas and chairs on the beach. The breeze makes it cool enough that you will be comfortable, but make sure to gt an umbrella - the sun is very strong in Aruba.
