About this property

This 16th century farmhouse is situated on the edge of a quiet hamlet, in its own grounds, which include a large private swimming pool, and a secure pond with free-range ducks and chickens. Table Tennis, Volleyball set and Wifi, also available. The property has been tastefully renovated to provide spacious and comfortable accommodation, whilst retaining original beams and stone walls. Ideal for a complete "break from it all", or as a base for touring the many delights of this region. Many activities nearby, including golf, fishing, horse-riding and karting. Within easy reach of Poitiers and Futuroscope, the Marais Poitevin (Green Venice), the Puy du Fou, the Loire Valley, La Rochelle and the Atlantic Coast, the beautiful Ile de Re and other islands, Cognac and much, much more.

Accueil des propriétaires parfait. Maison de caractère ayant tout le nécessaire ainsi qu’une piscine . Le calme de la campagne proche du Futuroscope et du Puy du Fou .

Why they chose this property

We feel that this property is ideally located for many reasons. We are an hour's drive south from the Loire Valley and its beautiful chateaux. We are just over an hours drive away from La Rochelle and it's many islands. Futuroscope is only 40 mins away and Valle des Singes (monkey valley) is just over an hours drive away, a place that works tirelessly in its effort to rescue, breed and rehabilitate many apes. We also recommend Puy du Fou which again is only an hours drive away. This unique experience never fails to impress with it's many shows. ie, Vikings, Musketeers, Roman Arena, Falconery display and many, many more
