About this property

Schuss 301 is situated in Val Claret, the highest village in Tignes.It is no more than 200 metres from virtually all the shops/bars/restaurants and is approximately 400 metres from the ski lifts providing access to the Grande Motte Glacier and the Espace Killy ski area. Situated on the third floor ,the south west facing balcony looks up to the Glacier and the pistes. The apartment has been finished to a high standard internally with a double bedroom, bunk room and sofa bed to the lounge. The shower room is finished in French Limestone and the kitchen has everything you need after a hard day on the slopes. The main bedroom has views over the mountains/golf course and lake. On the ground floor there is a ski locker and ski boot room with lockers belonging to the apartment. There is free wifi in the apartment and freeview providing numerous Uk and French TV channels.
If you contact my in resort manager at least 4 days before your arrival they can book your ski passes in advance at a discount on the market rate, as long as you are staying outside French school holiday dates.


The apartment is close to shops/restaurants/lifts but is far enough away that there are no noise issues late at night when the local wildlife gets into full voice. In summer there are plentiful opportunities for golfers, walkers, watersports, sailing, summer skiing and tennis.

What a fabulous little apartment
Really reluctant to write this review as we want to keep this little treasure to ourselves! It is brilliant. We stayed as a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teens. It is probably the best equipped apartment we've ever hired. It is compact but it has everything you need and even the table (Which comfortably sits 6) packs away for more space. We didn't use the sofa bed, we wanted the two bedrooms and a separate living space and it was perfect. We were there for christmas and even managed to make a roast dinner! The photos aren't up to date and the furniture in the lounge is better than the photos. The bucket chairs aren't there and they have been replaced by 2 larger, comfy chairs. It was perfect for us. The TV is large (not like the images) with a variety of english channels (We took a TV stick so that we could watch netflix etc. The ktichen has everything you need, including sharp knives etc. We took a few of our own diswasher tablets and cleaning bits but there were some items under the sink. The sherpa supermarket is just around the corner. Gary (the host) was great and phoned us the day before. He explained where to get the lift down to the bus (By the side of precision ski!) and made some restaurant recommendations and explained about the apartment and how to get in / out. It was fantastic. Always warm, boot room and ski lockers near to the entrance, a manned reception, a common room / seating area downstairs and the whole building was always lovely and warm. Thanks Garry!!

Un séjour d'été très reposant à Tignes, dans un appartement clair, confortable et très bien aménagé, à proximité de toutes les commodités et de nombreuses activités. C'était un 2e séjour dans cet appartement pour nous : toujours aussi satisfaits !

Good stay
Good location, responsive host, occasional noise from hallway but otherwise, quiet; comfortable bed, functional kitchen but be aware the fridge is small (counter height). Bring your own soaps and basic cooking oils, salt, etc. as none are provided, while free parking is available nearby in summer, it fills quickly and stays filled. Overall, good stay.

L'appartement est bien situé et fonctionnel. Il y a des rangements tres pratiques. Il manque juste une machine a laver et un étendoir ppour le linge. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour.
