From the exterior where you'll have the choice of 2 golf carts to cruise the resort, you know you’re in for something really special. That's right--this home comes with 2 golf carts for you to enjoy--a white 6-seater and a yellow 4-seater for plenty of space for 10 people. Nestled away on the Bay side of the Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort, this home sits along the canal in the over-the-top community of Villa Lago. Each home offers its own take blending a Tuscan feel with our Panhandle Florida charm. The Tuscan feel is noticed right away with the tiled roof, stucco exterior, and columns around the porches. Inside, beautifully tiled floors lead you through the very open floor plan which is made even more spacious by the lofty ceilings.

The kitchen will “wow” any cook in your group! The granite countertops and appliances are all brand new as this home was just completed in 2016. There is plenty of counter space and even more storage, perfect for whipping up a simple snack to enjoy on the patio or pack up something for everyone and create a sunset picnic – Tuscan-style! The large living space has plenty of seating for relaxing and recharging until your next adventure. There is even a first-floor half bath for extra convenience.

Aside from the main master bedroom and full en suite bathroom on the 1st floor, the second floor hosts 4 of the home’s five bedrooms. There are two additional master suites which each offer their own en suite, private bathrooms. Both are beautifully tiled with double vanities and walk-in showers. The main master suite has a separate Jacuzzi tub and shower. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The fifth bedroom is perfect for the kids with a set of full-size bunk beds, a twin sleeper, and an en suite bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

Now it’s time to leave our Emerald Coast Tuscan Villa and get a new attitude! Hop on one of the home’s golf carts or ready your bike and start your exploration of the beautiful resort where, from your doorstep, you’re just a few minutes away from resort life at its best! The Village Baytowne Wharf is just around the corner and always offers great family fun options!

Deadly Hydrogen Gas From Golf Carts

Our stay was eventful, as we arrived to the carbon monoxide detectors blaring through the house. I called a VH rep only for them to say “crack the garage door, go out to dinner, come back and 9-10 chance it will turn off. And you’ll be fine” With 7 children with us, this was NOT an option, as safety is paramount. We were given the option to call the non emergency line. Firetrucks came and assessed the beautiful home while as our whole family waited outside horrified. The firemen informed us that carbon monoxide was not detected HOWEVER deadly amounts of hydrogen were found due to people leaving the golf carts plugged in the garage with no ventilation. The firemen were appalled noting that we avoided a deadly situation, praising us for not brushing off the directions of VH’s representative. We were told this happens often at this home. The property itself was gorgeous, we love coming to the Baytowne area (this was our 3rd time). We tried to overlook our first day and having to call the fire dept for a recurring , deadly issue that could have been mitigated, but we couldn’t get over how terribly we were in danger from the first night. We appreciate the local FD and wish that there was more concern for safety as with had several interactions with Vacation Haven staff who all brushed off the severity of our experience.

Baytown Loop

Very spacious home. Perfect for family. Clean. A few things were broken like headlights on golf cart, dinning room chair, and towel rack in one of the bathrooms. If you book and stay longer than 3 days bring garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, and dishsoap, they only provide enough for 2 days. Watch the parking, they are serious about not parking on the grass, we were fined $100 for a front tire on the grass before we realized and could fix,

First time, but won't be the last!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the house for our entire family vacation on fall break. It was the first time we had EVER done a family vacation. The house was pristine, spacious and everyone had their own private space. The two golf carts were so helpful in getting us around. We loved the two pools, and the entire area. While it's not on the beach, it's a very short distance, and we like it that way! We will definitely come back.

Great place

The property is wonderful. Our only complaint was the owner did it provide the basics like paper towels trash bags dishwasher soap etc for the time we were there. You would think those small necessities would be provided in an upscale property such as this.
