New family owned spacious two-bedroomed ground floor apartment with large balcony. One of 22 apartments built on the side of a hill. Shared pool. The apartments are never at full occupancy, even in high season. The apartment hosts one double bedroom with doors opening out on to the balcony. There is wardrobe space and chest of drawers. Bedroom two has two sets of bunk beds and double drawers and windows that open out to a stunning hillside view. There is a modern kitchen diner with electric oven and gas hobs. It's completely stocked with pots, pans, plates, glasses, toaster, kettle, sandwich maker. If you want to indulge your Italian cooking skills then you will have everything you need. The lounge area has a three-seater leather sofa and there are two leather armchairs. A 32" television with built in DVD player hangs on the wall facing the sofa. There is a varied collection of DVDs for young children to teenagers and adults. The apartment has a bookcase with books for all ages. Please feel free to make use of the books and DVDs just don't take them home, as we have them listed and will know! There is an air conditioning unit in the main living area and fans in the rooms to keep you cool. The bathroom has a toilet, bidet and enclosed shower. There are bath towels and beach towels for your use. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom for your use. There are dryers under the bed to dry your washing. There is also a hairdryer and straighteners in the main bedroom. The balcony has a table that can be extended to seat ten and six outside chairs.
This is a fantastic family holiday destination. The front door is five metres from the pool. The balcony has sea views and olive groves in front. There is a well kept lawn in front of the apartment with basic children's play area. The pool is 15ms long and never that busy. There are lights in the pool at night if you fancy a midnight swim. There is a large car park for you to park in at the side of the apartments. The beach is a two minute drive or a one kilometre walk down the hill. The small village with is 750ms has a chemist, a coffee shop and butcher shop to serve your needs. Further along there is a small convenience store and a few restaurants. On the beach there is a seasonal restaurant and bar which opens from June to September. It serves cafe food, ice-cream, soft drinks, beer and other drinks during the day and a full menu with amazing homemade wood fired pizza and fresh seafood and pasta dishes in the evening. There is a lido where you can rent sun loungers and chairs and umbrellas. There are two umbrellas and some beach chairs in the apartment for your use and it's perfectly fine to find your spot and then leave your umbrellas there for the rest of your stay but do bring the chairs home. Exiting the apartment is via a fob and electric gate. Turning left and up a steep hill either walking or driving it's minutes away is an Agrutourismo, Antonio Reale a Canadian with Calabrian family serves food at his long table with a mix of guests serving home cooked italian food and his own wine for reasonable prices and stunning views of the bay. There are many near by historical towns and hilltop villages to visit while you are there. Locri is a five-minute drive and has many good cheap food places and coffee shops and supermarkets and markets. There is a large supermarket and mall in Siderno which is about a 20min drive for big items. Directions to all of these places will be supplied on booking. This is a fantastic place for couple looking to get away and experience the Italian south, for families who want a pool and beach holiday with everything supplied or friends wanting some sun and good food and wine.
