Great location
The cute little cabin was in a perfect location for us to explore West Glacier National Park. Loved sitting out on the spacious covered front porch after a day of hiking. Everything we needed was there. Kathy was available for questions & information about the area. We would definitely stay again if we return to the area.

Bears den is a very comfortable, cozy cabin. It is well decorated and well furnished. The bed was comfortable. However, it is very close to the railroad tracks, and 3 to 4 trains went through both nights between 10 PM and 7 AM. They blew their whistles and it was. VERY loud! Another issue we had was the poor communication with the host on several levels. I would not recommend this cabin.

Perfect Location
The cabin was in a perfect location with easy access to the west entrance of Glacier National Park and close to town for dinner and groceries. It was clean and a great size for my husband and I.

Nice cabin in a quiet neighborhood
We enjoyed our stay in this small cabin. No great views but perfect for someone looking to stay about 10 minutes from the west entrance of GNP. There is a binder with a list of places to eat in the area or you can make your own meals. Clean cabin and quiet neighborhood except for the train horn. Washer and dryer worked well so we could pack less clothes. Small grocery store (Canyon Foods) 5 miles away or Super 1 Foods in Columbia Falls for a bigger selection. I would recommend this cabin and would return if ever in the area again.

Don’t Believe What The Description Says!!
Nothing like a cabin get-a-way!!!! This cabin is in the middle of sheds, stored equipment, junk!!! The “nostalgic” train is 200 yards away with a fly out of your bed at 4am kind of whistle!!! The “new mattress” is not new…it has a Queen mattress topper teetering awkwardly on top of a full mattress. The couch…oh my goodness…OLD, RIPPED, LUMPY!! When you walk through the front door you have 30 inches in between a makeshift bar to the right and the old ripped and tattered couch to the left. The owner changed the ad AFTER WE BOOKED OUR STAY, by the way. The initial ad said that this cabin could sleep 3 with an air mattress included. NO AIR MATTRESS!!!! We had to go buy one. It hardly fit, of course, being that the area I described above was so narrow!!! Now for the front porch…2 old lawn chairs and an old barbecue grill covered with dust from the vehicles that drive up and down the dirt road that’s 30 yards from the cabin. Oh, and when you pull up to the cabin you’ll see a lovely window made out of press board wood. How ridiculous. Please, please, please take my advice and don’t stay here!! I’m a fourth grade teacher who trusts what people say. My dad past away last winter so I took my mom and daughter up to Montana to spread some of his ashes…one of his last requests. We had planned to stay 3 nights but the cabin conditions were so awful we left after 2. I called the property manager to ask for a refund for the 3d night’s stay and she just argued with me about the conditions.
