About this property

A nicely presented 2 bed roomed ground floor apartment set in the Miraflores Pueblo 1 (Fase 1) secure gated complex within easy reach from Malaga aiport.

Miraflores Resort lies close to the coastline of Mijas Costa. 30 minutes drive from Malaga airport, 1 hour from Gibraltar airport. Ample parking outside the apartment gates if you choose to self drive.

The apartment consists of an open plan kitchen and lounge, two bedrooms with fitted mirrored wardrobes and two well appointed shower rooms, with heated towel rails. All bath and beach/pool towels are provided.

Large patio doors lead out to a sunny tiled terrace with patio table and chairs looking out to our well maintained communal gardens where you can relax in the sun from early morning till the sun goes down in the evening. Two Sun beds are supplied for the garden. Dining chairs recline to offer a comfortable lounge in the sunshine.

There is a large communal pool and a child's paddling pool situated around 50 meters from the apartment where food and drinks are on sale for most of the day.
Times for entry to the pool vary over the seasons. Please ask Anna for details on the times you are planning your stay.

The apartment is close to the main road along the coast to Marbella. A pedestrian footbridge adjacent to the gates leads you to the Mijas Costa beaches and boardwalk reaching from La Cala to Cabopino.

There is a main reception 5 mins walk from the apartment where you can book day trips/car hire/etc. Reception is where you will collect and drop your keys to the apartment.

Ett bra boende med tillgång till gräsmatta och fin uteplats. Tyvärr utan matbord utomhus. Bra sängar samt komplett och bra köksutrustning. Jättefin och lång strandpromenad.

Love Miraflores’s Phase 1 modern two bed garden view apartment

Beautiful apartment exceeds expectation from the photos . Spotless ! Great beds and good quality bedlinen provided , including beach towels. Beautifully modern bathrooms . Kitchen has all requirements. Great terrace and access to fabulous garden . Excellent communication from owner in advance of our arrival . Check in arrangements was easy . 2 mins from pool and pool side bar . Lifeguard present from 9 am to 9 9pm in summertime. Everywhere is very well maintained with beautiful gardens . The flowers as you walk to the pool area are amazing . Pool side bar is open from 11 till late with lovely friendly service from staff . It provides light snacks refreshments and drinks . Have visited this complex since 2001 . We love it there and this beautiful apartment has exceeded all expectations. Look forward to another visit in the future . Thank you Anna .

Excellent Mijas Apartment @ Miraflores

Just back from a quick 5 night break at Anna's apartment. Prior to leaving, Anna provided great communication with all the instructions on key collection, access, etc. Upon arrival, the keys were waiting as described as it was out of hours, so no issues at all. The apartment didn't disappoint. Exactly as described, even exceeding our expectations. The biggest bonus with this apartment is the garden, directly outside. Although this is a communal garden, shared by the small block, it is plenty large enough if other people were using it, but fortunately we had it all to ourselves throughout our stay. It made an easy option for sunbathing if you didn't want to go to the pool or beach and gave our youngest somewhere safe and secure to play where he could be seen at all times. The apartment was clean and spacious, with all the equipment you could want for your stay. The pool area is a minute down the path and is well laid out, with plenty of room. The pool bar was handy for a chilled drink during the hot days by the pool and service was always good. The beach is accessed directly across the bridge outside the apartment entrance, which was convenient. The boardwalk that runs from La Cala to Calahonda was great and would recommend the 15 minute walk to La Cala for it's beach and facilities. Overall an excellent apartment and host. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Lovely spacious apartment, with lovely garden.

Lovely big apartment, with patio doors leading onto a large garden area for sunbathing. The description is a little play on words, as yes the garden is enclosed, but we were a bit disappointed that you actually share the 'enclosed' garden sunbathing area with about 6 other apartments. If any of those had children staying or did not respect your privacy, then it would not be private or appealing for me. We were lucky as we had it to ourselves, most of out holiday, but that was pure luck. The other disappointment is the noise from the motorway, which is right next to the apartments. I couldn't hear my phone which was on my sunbed due to the traffic noise. But you do get used to it and the positives of walking out of your apartment into the beautiful gardens with your own sunbed outweigh the downside of the noise. There is also a lovely really big swimming pool literally 2 minutes away from the apartment if you prefer sunbathing there. It has a lovely snack bar where the staff are brilliant and they show live football !!. The apartment wanted for nothing, the host has made sure everything is there, such as extra towels, bedding, bug plugs, all cutlery and pots and pans that you will ever need. Do not bother with the welcome pack though as the cleaners couldn't be bothered to get ours so when we arrived at 2300 there was no water or milk, bread etc. I wasn't impressed. When they eventually brought the stuff at lunchtime the next day, there was still no water and just crap you wouldn't buy yourself. The TV has Netflix which is great. The shower was great and you had hot water any time of the day or night. You are right near some supermarkets and 2 pharmacies, so that was good. Overall the complex is a little dated and the apartment shows signs of that and needs a touch up in the bathroom especially. But the price the host charges i think reflects that and if you get the garden to yourself like we did it was great.
