Beautiful, relaxing and perfect. Highly recommend

The property is beautiful and very private. Plenty of space and windows allow for seeing the georgeous yard, sky, and ocean thru the trees. close to nice walking area and lookout bluff(s) to the ocean. At night can hear waves crashing on bluff near by. The House well stocked with everything you need. Owner and property manager were great communicators and kind/easy to deal with. For most of the time, it was just Me and My adult daughter, but plenty of space for a larger family. I would go back any chance I get and highly recommend.

Wonderful location

Location couldn’t have been better. Property was picturesque. Had a small issue and the owners, Al and Melinda and property manager Dan were extremely helpful and remedied the issue. Hoping to go back next year.

Our stay at the house in Shell Beach was wonderful in every way - the house itself was clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished and equipped; the location was perfect; the responsiveness of the owners was excellent and the best ever experienced! We would choose this house again in a heartbeat!

Pacific coast vacation

We loved the house in Pismo Beach. The property was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The home was in a perfect location for our sight seeing along the California central coast. The grounds were well manicured and we enjoyed ocean views from the yard and nearby bluffs. Owner was very responsive.

Excellent all around property

We stayed six months and enjoyed everything about this property. Great house, location, access to hiking, beaches. Owners were great to work with. Beautiful manicured garden on top of everything else. We loved it!

Why they chose this property

We've been all up and down the California coast, but nothing matches the Central Coast area for weather, views, and an uncrowded, college-town feel. It's Oprah's "Happiest Place in America" for good reason! Within the area, we found Shell Beach to be very special and were thrilled to find this hidden jewel of a home.

What makes this property unique

It's very difficult to find privacy like this in Shell Beach. We are 150 yards from the ocean bluff with easy access to multiple uncrowded beaches. Walk to ocean parks, playgrounds, restaurants, and nearby resorts. Go hiking, biking, shelling, kayaking, or visit nearby free public tennis courts. Drive just 20 minutes to Montana de Oro, a beautiful, free state park with a gorgeous pathway along the cliffs. Or, take a drive 45 minutes up the coast to visit Hearst Castle, continue a few miles and see hundreds of awesome elephant seals, then drive further north to hit the Pacific Coast Highway up to Big Sur - one of the most spectacular drives in North America!
