About eleanor mcallister
i am enjoying retirement with a lot of activities and enjoy meeting new people as they come to live in my holiday let. I was a project manager in the construction industry and was especially involved in restoration of historic buildings and in regeneration programmes. I moved to this conservation area because I loved the mix of historic environment and areas of the the natural heritage.
eleanor mcallister purchased this House in 2017

Home from Home
Excellent property, so welcoming. Set up and location just perfect for us.
Malcom and family were lovely guests and left the house in immaculate condition. I would have no hesitation in welcoming them back or recommending them to other hosts. Eleanor
Great location, wonderful stay.
We had a wonderful 4 day stay in this home. The house was nice & warm, with all the amenities we needed. Bonus of having private parking on the property. Tesco near by for groceries. We would highly recommend this home.
Wendy and Ming were really friendly, quiet and considerate guests. They left the house in immaculate condition and I have no hesitation in recommending them to other hosts. I would welcome them back any time.
Lovely property and owner on great location
We wanted a ground floor apartment for our weekend in Glasgow as we have 2 toddlers and a buggy. This was an ideal property with a huge garden where the children could play safely. Eleanor was warmly welcoming and a mine of useful information. The centre of Glasgow is easily accessible by bus so that the car can be left at the property. The apartment is cosy and well equipped. Highly recommended!
Great location and very clean
Staying at Eleanor's place in Glasgow was great for our family as it was just a short drive to Luss and Loch Lomond. Eleanor herself was very friendly and helpful and the place was very clean. Thank you so much, Eleanor!
Kathy and her family were lovely guests and left the house in immaculate condition. I have no hesitation in recommending them to other hosts.
Everything we needed with the added treat of home grown strawberries and salad leaves.
Lesley and her family were perfect guests and left the house in immaculate condition. I have no hesitation in recommending them to other hosts.
Lovely place to stay, owner was very pleasant. Communication was great, she even stocked up on tea,
We had a great experience

The west end cafes, bars and restaurants are 10 minutes away and the city centre is accessible by car, taxi and bus in 15 minutes. The SECC and Hydro venues are 10 minutes away as are theatres and cinemas.
We are on the cycle path to the Forth and Clyde Canal and to Loch Lomond which is only 20 minutes away and we are immediately adjacent to Victoria Park - one of Glasgow's finest!
