At a quiet and historical neighbourhood in the modern part of the first Capital of Greece, the majestic town of Nafplio, VB CODE (construction & design team) created the first HomeGround Suites ready to host all of you. This particular neighboorhood is of historical importance, even though it is located in the modern part of town, for two main reasons: firstly, it is here that St Theodore's church was relocated by the residents of Nafplio when it was decided by the Francs that its original location, the rock island in the middle of the harboor, would be renamed into what is known today as "Bourtzi". Secondly, it is where one of the generals of the greek revolution in 1821 held his cottage from which he was captured and imprisoned into Palamidi prison. St Theodore's church is still in good condition and it was located in Kolokotronis' cottage. It is said that Kolokotronis himself took care of the church since Theodore was his first name and St Theodore his guardian saint.
