Return to a lovely cottage
We’ve stayed in Longsteps now, 3 times and each visit is just as good as the last. The cottage has been completely refurbished and is really lovely. I cooked a full roast dinner for the family and everything I needed was on hand. Fabulous place to stay. Booking for next year.
Beautiful little cottage with all essentials
We had a great holiday in longsteps.
The cottage has everything you need and has great character. It's in a perfect place and the town of Fowey is magical.
Not a criticism but just to note the church clock chimes every fifteen minutes and dongs the hours on the hour all night amd the cottage is right next to the church so it takes you a couple of days to get used to this through the night! The bedrooms could do with some blackout curtains as the light wakes you early.
Not an issue though if you put something over the blinds.....
We would definitely return.
Thank you for a great holiday.

I have stayed at this cottage many times over the years and always enjoyed it, now that it has been refurbished it simply exceeds expectations. The owners have completely changed the interior and it looks great. Fowey is on the doorstep and has a wealth of pubs, restaurants and shops. Great holiday in a beautiful cottage in a wonderful setting. Will be back.
Pretty little cottage
We had a lovely weekend. The cottage was extremely well presented, very clean and beautifully decorated!
A very tastefully furnished property
I would recommend this property to anyone in fact I already have.
Cottage has everything you could possible need plus a lovely outlook from the decking area, and a great position.
Lovely well-equipped property
We had not taken a self catering break for a number of year, but we had a wonderful time staying at Longsteps. The Cottage has recently been refurbished and is beautifully furnished and the kitchen equipped with everything that you need if you wished to eat in. We ate out most nights, as there are some really good restaurants and pubs just a short walk away. When we arrived at the property everything was very clean and tidy and we found we were able to use the wi-fi on our computers and tablet with no problem. There is no car parking close by, but you can pull up outside the cottage to unload. After this you have to use the central car park at the top of the hill, but you can buy a weekly parking pass from the local authority. I would recommend anyone staying in Fowey to do this, because the walk up the hill every morning to feed the meter is a fitness challenge. This was our first time in Fowey, but we will certainly return and Longsteps would be our accommodation of choice for any future visit.
