Located in the upper Moonridge neighborhood of Big Bear, just minutes from Bear Mountain, this single story Big Bear Cabin with elevated living space has all the comforts of home. It features desirable cabin accents, including a knotty pine vaulted ceiling, wood floors in the main living space, a large deck for outdoor relaxation, and a outdoor hot tub.

The open floor plan is perfect for family gatherings, with a large living room with plenty of couch seating, a large flat screen TV, cable, and a DVD player and wood burning fireplace for those chilly winter nights. The dining area has a beautiful log style table and chairs with additional seating at the breakfast bar. Enjoy the expansive kitchen counter space while you prepare a meal or light snack. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics, including a gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and side-by-side refrigerator. Step out to the back deck for grilling on the charcoal barbeque or sit back in the shade of the mature trees. Challenge each other to some friendly competition with a game of horseshoes! Soak in the hot tub under the stars after a long day of Big Bear fun in this Big Bear Cabin!

When night falls, retreat to one of the three bedrooms. The master suite has a private full bathroom, king bed and TV with cable access. The second bedroom has a queen bed and TV with cable. The third bedroom has a twin over full bunk and separate twin bed. A full bathroom is located in the hall as well as a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Please be mindful of our neighbors during your stay. Stay off the neighbor's trampoline, tire swing, and driveway. Our property's quiet hours are in place to ensure that everyone can enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. We care a lot about maintaining good relationships with our community, so we appreciate you following our "house rules" during your stay. Disturbing the peace is a violation of San Bernardino County Ordinance. Please keep noises to a minimum between the hours of 9pm and 9am. Being on the deck using the BBQ after 10:00 PM can result in a fine. Failure to comply with these rules may result in expulsion from the property by the County Code Officers with no refund and additional fines from San Bernardino County if they receive a noise complaint.

The only issue I had was the terrible booking process at vrbo.. the price listed when I booked was NOT the price I ended up paying. Upon booking, vrbo charged me the deposit plus the their booking fee… the rest of the payment has to go thru the management company and I ended up having to pay more than the total price that was listed when booking thru vrbo. I was super upset but had no choice because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of finding somewhere else to book at a much shorter notice once the final payment was due. I have booked thru them before and never had this issue. The cabin itself was very nice…listings usually appear better online but I liked this place more in person. It was bigger, better and more tranquil than imagined. The living room fit my 7 person family well, the fireplace was nice, the jacuzzi was great. Wish the second bedroom had a kind size bed though. We ended up having a wonderful time and would definitely stay again… but book thru the management company directly next time.

Overall Good

The house was really great overall. There were a few little things that were not great. In the master bedroom there is no dresser, it's very bare. We only stayed a few nights so we made it work, but if we were going to stay a week or two it would be more of an issue. One of the closet doors was broken and fell during normal use. We called the management company and they just said to leave it there and they'd fix it later. Also, there were not enough towels for showers in a house that sleeps 8-10. There were 7 very small hotel towels to use for the whole house. We were aware of our need to bring our own towels for the hot tub so that turned out okay but it would've been nice to have actual adult sized towels for every person to use in the house for showers. The kitchen was stocked really well, so that was good. The couches are old and kinda lumpy, but the house really is pretty with a nice open floor plan. There's a cool tire swing and the hot tub was great. The bed in one of the other bedrooms is a big bunk bed which looks very cool. It is not stable. None of my kids wanted to sleep on the top and opted to sleep on the floor because the bed was so wobbly. On our last day we asked for a late check out and were pleased to be able to check out late, at 1pm, so we appreciated that.
