About this property

Enjoy Life on the Lazy River!! Located on a quiet, private road across from the East Branch river with a short walking trail at the end of the road. Enjoy the thrilling area attractions during the day then retreat to your private home with spacious deck and Fire pit for friends and family. Quiet private road Great for morning walks (with your dog and coffee). Beds include queen size, full size bed, bunks, with additional futon for overflow. Perfect for family or two or group of friends. Come enjoy, Story Land, hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, skiing, or just relaxing on the deck with the Hummingbirds by the river. A secluded setting, yet so close to everything. The Deck overlooks the River and is our favorite place in summer and Fall to start our day , enjoying a cup of coffee with our dog or to wind down with a glass of wine in the evening watching the sun set behind the mountains. The soothing sound and sight of the river does wonders for our soul. The Hummingbirds are delightful both morning and evening.You must be 25 years old to rent this house.

Ski trip

Very comfortable stay! Plenty of room for 2 families. Very spacious and well stocked kitchen. Great location near many ski resorts ! Private location for walks with the dog. Would love to check this place out in the summer. Host was very responsive.

Relaxing view on the Saco River

My husband and I stayed with my mother and two dogs. Brian and Shirley were very helpful and communicative. They even left us welcome gifts. The Intervale Ale was enjoyed. And we appreciated the calendar of Shirley’s photography. Listening to the sound of the Saco River and the walking trail was therapeutic. The dogs loved it! Their home was comfortable and dog friendly. The only recommendation we have is to improve the lighting in the kitchen and bathroom next to the laundry. But it was no big deal. Lovely, secluded area

The property is as advertised and well maintained. The house was clean and everything was in good working order. We enjoyed our stay here and loved the area. The owner reached out early and was pleasant. The issue of what to do with our garbage was our only hiccup. We did not know the policy until after we booked and we were not allowed to drop it off at the transfer station so we had to bring it home in our car.

Beautiful

The property is as described, everything we needed was supplied. Super clean, owner very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. Very quite and secluded with the river right in front of property and a great hidden swimming hole down the street. I would recommend a stay here. We will be back for sure

We live in Portsmouth, NH, graduates of UNH, with our Chinook, Arthur and Golden retriever Bjornebaer( we can't keep her out of the river out front) We are both avid outdoor enthusiasts. We love all the White Mountains have to offer winter, spring, summer, fall.

Why they chose this property

It's been our dream to have a home in the White Mountains to be able to come up with our dogs to explore and get to know the local area. Intervale, Jackson, Bartlett, and North Conway have so much to offer from great local restaurants, abundance of trails, scenery, swimming holes (be sure to bring watershoes!), countless fun local attractions, shopping at the outlets or small boutique shops, up close and personal with the local wildlife. Our home is so close to them all. We have grown fond of enjoying a glass of wine on our deck at the end of the day, overlooking the east branch river as the sun sets behind the ridge with hummingbirds zooming by . We are in awe of the local attractions from trails to restaurants to shopping treasures that we discover each time we are here.
On cold nights we are warmed by the gas stove. There are plenty of seats at the large dining room table for dinner or a puzzle at the end of the day. We are happy to share our home for you to make your own memories.

What makes this property unique

On the river, tucked away on a quiet private road. Open concept living to maximize family and/or friend gatherings. Bedrooms are tucked away downstairs for ultimate privacy and relaxation. We love to listen to the sounds of the river as we relax on our spacious deck.
