Paris with granddaughters
We loved Paris. The apartment was perfect for us. It was a great location, close to the train station, restaurants, stores. We would definitely stay here again. Loved it!!!!
Perfect spot; perfect apartment (Endroit parfait; appartement parfait)
We so enjoyed our stay at this property. We already knew the neighborhood and were happey to be back. Wonderful location with easy access to all of Paris. Tastefully decorated, wonderful books, complete kitchen. We loved watching the world go by on rue d'Alésia. Some spots we enjoyed: Le Vaudésir (41 rue Dareau); Le Comptoir (18 ave René Coty); Café Daguerre (4 ave du Générale Leclerc--We LOVE this café!); and L'Académie du Pain just across the street from the apartment. You can't go wrong with this property. Bravo!
Bravo!
Great Place To Stay
I loved this apartment located in the Alesia neighborhood. It was a short walk from the metro and bus stops, with plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. It usually took us about 30 minutes to get to most sites and the main train stations. I had no issues getting access to the apartment when I arrived, or leaving it when I was done. There are a couple of flights of stairs up to the apartment, but easy enough to carry luggage. It's a one bedroom with a queen size bed, and a couch bed in the livingroom, both were super comfy with plenty of clean sheets. There's an extra room/space between the bedroom and the livingroom that isn't really useful but it makes the apartment much larger. We used this space to store our luggage. The kitchen is off livingroom with a 4 person dinning table. It is on the street side, but with the windows closed it was really quiet, plus after dark and the traffic died down the neighborhood was pretty quiet as well. The kitchen doesn't have an oven but there's a gas range, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. I found the space easy to use and fully stocked with kitchen tool for making dinner. There's a washer, no dryer, but a clothes rack for drying in the closet. Also, the bathroom is super roomy without any weird plumbing issues. Overall, I thought this was a great place to stay for the price and for myself and two daughters. I'd totally stay there again!
Apartment was great, but stairs are difficult for older folks with luggage. The walkin shower was wonderful.
The apartment was wonderful!!! It was SO nice, it was in a great location - out of the way from packed and busy streets, and just 200 yards from the metro! It was relaxing to be there and was great for our family of 3!
The property is fine but there are serious problems with the cleaning support system.
