Beautiful home with wonderful views
Everything was good except for the cleaning in general; it doesn’t look like a profesional HK cleaning we found cramps in the kitchen, the dishes weren’t organize properly, the toaster had a lot of cramps and the bathrooms weren’t very clean. Plus the carpet needs profesional cleaning too. The bed in the master bedroom makes a lot of noise every time I moved, it was annoying. Even that we had a great time, we enjoyed our stay in the beautiful place.

Great location
I chose this place as it had the best bed count for our group. Beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and mtn bike and walking trails connect. Hot tub, ping pong and foos ball were a hit. Near town for restaurants and near several beaches.

Great time with family
We rented this house with my brother and sister. We had 6 adults and 5 kids between the ages of 10 and 16. We had a blast. Great house for all with ping pong table and foosball table for the kids (and adults!). Kitchen was one of the most well stocked we have ever seen. Beautiful outdoor patio. Just 5 minutes walk from the house down the street was this beautiful clearing with a spectacular view of Lake Tahoe and the mountains. Would recommend to anyone

This lovely home has been a VRBO rental for 10 years now and we are very excited to continue the tradition.

Why they chose this property

The house is located on a large lot. It is quite private with Nature Conservancy space on one side and a greenbelt on the other. The West Shore is a great part of Tahoe. The views of the lake from this side are beautiful, and so close to some of the best areas of Tahoe - Truckee, Squaw Valley and Emerald Bay. You can be hiking, mountain biking, or cross-country skiing through ten national forest regions with less than 5 minutes of driving. Its close to everything yet is comfortably secluded. If you don't want to make the 5 minute drive into town, the Natural Moon health food store and cafe, Tahoe House Bakery and Famers Market (on Thursdays) are even closer for high-quality natural and organic grocery shopping. For restaurants, there are so many wonderful places to eat while looking out over the river or the lake. Just down the street are the local Fire Sign Cafe and endlessly popular Sunnyside restaurant. Everyone enjoys Sunny Side, with their deck and vast expanse of windows looking out over the lake, a wonderful place to relax and watch the sun set. For breakfast and lunchtime is the Fire Sign Cafe. This restaurant and annex are both built in the charming, classic Tahoe style. In the warm weather you can also eat on their deck, looking over a lovely, small lot filled with grass, trees and flowers. The Fire Sign makes the best coffee, their portions are generous, and their food is delicious. Even waiting for a table there is fun, enjoy a coffee while waiting in the delightful restaurant annex, playing the board games or reading the books provided.

What makes this property unique

All of the bathrooms have been updated.
This property is near skiing, hiking, beach and only1 mile to Tahoe City restaurants and shopping.
