Enjoying wonderful sea views and a superb location for exploring the Scottish Borders and beautiful Northumberland coast, this spacious and well appointed property is ideal for family gatherings. The picturesque villages of St Abbs and Eyemouth, where visitors can arrange boat trips or feed the wild grey seals living in the harbour, are both close by. Spectacular sandy beaches are just 4 miles away as is the historic town of Berwick, with its faithfully preserved Elizabethan walls and barracks, fine choice of shops and restaurants, and railway station for excursions to the city of Edinburgh, just a 45-minute train journey away. Holy Island (National Trsut) is also easily accessible. Shops 4 miles, pub serving food 2 miles.

Fantastic house with beautiful views
A beautiful property that was perfect for our needs. There were five adults and four children in our group and it catered, and was accessible, for all. Supermarkets are close, the views are fantastic, and the house itself was clean and tidy. We had to switch the timer off on the heating as it was very cold with it on but the house warmed up very quickly and it was really warm after a while. We would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone.

House with a view.
The House was very clean and tidy. We were eight persons and had enough space. The surrounding is very nice and you have a spectacular view to the sea. Berwick with various supermarkets is near by and you get easily to Edinburgh and Glasgow by train. We‘ve enjoyed our trip.

Spacious country house
Lovely property in a quiet location with excellent views. Situated near many attractions. Property’s garden is much more mature than any pictures online portray. All equipment we needed and even more was available to use. Even had the log burner lit which was very cosy. Only downfall was a shortage of pillows which might have helped to enhance the bed comfort. Would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely spacious house with all the required amenities.
Lovely spacious house with all the required amenities. The property is in a small hamlet with no facilities but is within a 7 minute drive of supermarkets and the pleasant town of Berwick. There are some really nice places to visit very local to the house and we would particularly recommend Coldringham Sands, Eyemouth and a little further away North Berwick. We also drove to Edinburgh, about 75 mins away and it was a very worthwhile day The house was spotlessly clean with high ceilinged rooms and all the rooms were huge, there were 5 of us plus pets and never once did we feel crowded The decor was simple but excellent with a pallet of pale calm colours in the various rooms We would love to visit again Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
