Brilliant break over valentines 😊🥰
My partner and I stayed at the cider barn for 5 nights. The location is brilliant for venturing into wales (about 1 minute or so literally from the border heading towards Prestinge) and a good location to be to venture into the England- we went to Birimingham which was only an hour and a half ish away by car. The cottage itself was very cosy with a nice country feel to it and the perfect size for two people. There's a little log burner which was nice to have on in the evening and even had a welcome basket from the hosts. The farm the cider barn is on is lovely, we spent a hour or so with the host one morning feeding the sheep and talking about the farm which was a lovely experience. Loads of walks in the local area, great for those who enjoy walks like we do. There are many leaflets provided in the cider barn for ideas of where to visit and different areas you can go to for walks and the hosts had some good ideas too. The hosts were very helpful and were always contactable if there were any issues (which there werent) but we knew how to get hold of them if we needed too. You also have your own car park space which was perfect for our car. Would happily go back and stay at the cider barn again, probably in a warmer time of year.
Stayed 5 nights in Feb 2020
