Easy access to the beautiful beaches of 30A - just a 1-2 minute walk and your toes are in the sand with your stay at Made in the Shade.

This unique, 1940s old Florida-style cottage will let you enjoy your 30A vacation but still feel separated from the hustle and bustle of the main area. Close and convenient to Seaside, but still far enough away. This is a great area to ride bikes and you're just minutes from so many great dining and shopping options. All the attractions and activities of world famous Seaside are only a short bike ride or walk away.

You'll love the large screened-in front porch with 2 rocking chairs and hammock, plus there is a spacious deck in the back nestled in the shade of magnificent live oaks. A great spot to enjoy more fresh air and Gulf breezes. This house is the ONE for those that need to get away.

Sleeping Arrangements:

Bedroom 2: Queen bed, 2 sets of twin-over-twin bunks
Sofa in the living room pulls out to a queen bed.

Beach Access:
Head down Gardenia Street and directly across 30A is your boardwalk to beach access.

Seagrove Beach:
Named for the thick grove of oak trees lining its coastline, Seagrove Beach is located in the heart of 30A. There's no better spot to experience everything 30A has to offer! Feeling adventurous? Rent a bike and jump on the 20-mile Timpoochee bike trail that runs right around the corner from the neighborhood. Visit famous Seaside and Grayton Beach State Park to the West. Head East and discover more of Seagrove Beach plus the wonderful coastal communities of Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. Enjoy exploring the boutique shops, fabulous restaurants, and beautiful state parks in each of these communities.

A Benchmark welcome bag and initial starter kit of amenities are provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, and 1 liner for each trashcan. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom, plus 2 washing machine pods.

In the Shade

Overall great experience, superb location, super responsive and engaging property mgmt, they made everything very easy. Not your typical "fancy" Seaside digs, but very quaint, authentic and personable - we loved it! Thanks much for a nice, relaxing and fun experience - we will definitely be back. :)

Great place in 30A

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our time at Made in the Shade. Great location, very easy and quick walk to the beach. Public access to beach is right across the street. We biked everywhere (we brought our own bikes and 1 bike at Made in the Shade worked). The house was cute and quirky. We loved the porch and trees. Would love to stay there again!

Its about the Location not the house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location of the house in unbeatable. The condition of the house was unfortunate. From the pictures I knew we weren't renting an updated house, but feeling grossed out by everything around the house isn't what we expected. Was suppose to have 2 baths, but one didn't have a shower head or a way of turning on the shower portion so we ended up with 4 people sharing 1 Bathroom. Nothing has been maintained in the house, looks like after each renter they do a quick clean and call it good. House has potential but needs some love and a couple of bucks to make it suitable for a renter.
