We run our place as a chalet but its made up of three apartments situated mostly next door to each other.
This is advertised as the other apartments will have been booked out already, so we run a smaller group option when this happens. We also advertise on other competitor sites with which we have reviews, as this is our first year with HomeAway.
This apartment is our group dining area and this has direct access to the garden and barbecue area at he back of the property.
There is one bedroom with 4 beds (2 loft beds with single beds underneath. This is great for a group happy to share in a bunk house style sleeping arrangement but with a luxury element.
I am on-site almost 24/7 and live next door in the apartment where I do the cooking, so I m on hand but not invasive.
Incorporated in our booking is 6 dinners (3 courses if you choose to stay a week ), all breakfasts for you stay, option to pack your own lunch with bread provided, the parking fee is actually to incorporate your airport pickup and drop off from Sofia airport, but they dont let me give the fee a name hence parking fee. Also in your price is the gondola drop off in the morning.
I adapt our menu to suit the groups coming and have a childrens menu, vegetarian menu running along side our normal meat eaters menu.
95% is pure home cooking, I love to cook for people and I want to make sure you have an enjoyable holiday whilst with us. So its a cooked breakfast of eggs and the normal cereal with Yogurt, fruit, hot coffee and yorkshire tea. Afternoon cakes or savories, then a 3 course meal, with a good mix of salad, veggies and meat dishes. A mix of Bulgarian, English and we have a curry night and an Italian night.
Our place is private and comfortable It has rustic charm combined with modern facilities. We have comfy beds, separate chill out seating areas in each apartment and a mini kitchen with a hob and fridge, some even have a washing machine. If you use these kitchen facilities you are responsible for cleaning these area though,
We run a drop off to the gondola station in the morning, and if you want to be driven up the mountain we use Misho next door who has a ski shuttle business, and charges very competitive rates.
I also take people on snowshoe tours from beginners for a few hours getting used to equipment and terrain - right through to advanced of full days out or over night adventures, so its as easy or as hard as you want play.
In summer we are a mountain trekking company, winter we operate as a ski chalet or snowshoeing or separate apartments.
Summer time is about coming a pre-arranged trekking routes with us, which we organise once we have the first few people booked on and find out their level of ability and requirements. If a group books this applies to the group organiser and we liaise with that person.
