- english, My girlfriend is Thai
Originally from UK but have lived in Thailand now for over 14 years. I moved to Rawai about 10 years ago and bought this Villa which I now rent out. This is undoubtedly the best part of the Island to live and I enjoy every minute of it
Brian purchased this Villa in 2007
Why Brian chose Rawai
The Villa is very private, individual and set in beautiful tropical gardens with a great pool. It is well located within easy reach of wonderful restaurants, shopping, beaches and vibrant nightlife.

Great House to Relax
We fully enjoyed our stay at the property in Phuket. The house was fantastic and having the private secluded pool made the relaxing stay perfect. There are a few restaurants and a 7-11 within walking distance but other than that you will need a car or taxi to get anywhere. Electricity wasn't included in the VRBO price but it was very affordable. We only ran A/C in three of the bedrooms at night and it wasn't very expensive. .
Great property with loads of space.
This is a Great property with loads of space and an ideal base to explore from. As Brian states you will need to hire a car or use taxis to get around, one word of advice is to get an international driving licence as it could save you money if stopped by the police. However if you do drive out there you need to be a confident driver who is not easily scared, do not expect them to drive like any EU country.
The only thing I would say is with a little TLC and money spent on it this could be an excellent property hence why I haven’t given it 5 stars.
Saying that Brian and Lynn were very helpful and the welcome pack was a god send and saved us going for the essentials, except for beer?
Great villa with everything that we needed.
We are a family of 5 and Brian was very helpful in getting us acclimatised to the local area , and explaining what was going to happen at Songkran! It was fun...and very wet!
A perfect accommodation for my big family
We have been lucky enough to celebrate both Christmas and new years i Thailand. We were 8 adults and one child and We spend two weeks in Brian’s lovely villa. We envoyés the house very will and it’s very spacious! The pool was amazing, Brian -very hospitable, the garden was wonderful and it was easy to get to the nearby beaches by taxi.
The only negative was that all the sunbeds were broken.
Thanks for the nice review Liza but I wish you had told me about the sunbeds when you were there. The next guests told me when they arrived and they were all replaced the same day.
Spacious Villa with excellent swimming pool
Spent 2 weeks a this villa, very spacious with all the mod cons you require. Swimming pool and outside space were excellent. Welcome hamper on arrival that was very much appreciated. We did not hire a car but the taxi Brian suggested we use was very fairly priced and we manged to see most of the island. The only small down side was the electricity cost which was more expensive than the UK.
Glad you enjoyed your holiday but I would mention that the electric cost here is definitely less than the UK and you must remember there 6 air con units which can be expensive if left on continuously.
Hope to see you all again next year
Lovely villa! Pictures don't do it justice!
Brian's villa is beautiful! It is massive inside and has everything you need from great showers, fans, air con, fully fitted out kitchen, dining area comfy beds, dvds and DVD player, tv the list can go on! To add to this, Da comes in every day (except Sunday) to clean!
Outside the grounds are lovely and the pictures seriously don't do it justice. The garden is big and the pool is amazing (great size and depth for all!) and is cleaned once a week. There are sun loungers, umbrellas and an outside eating area out of the sun that even has a fan!
Big car port for two cars even though we didn't rent a car or bike and the driveway secure with an automatic gate. We mainly used thailands equivalent of uber to get around, Grab.
Brian was brilliant too, he organised our taxi transfers, welcomed us on arrival and popped in a couple of times to make sure all was ok and give some recommendations on where to go and eat. He even stocked the fridge with essentials for us on arrival which was a life saver after travelling for over 12 hours!
Location wise, it is on a quiet road off the main road down to Rawai so very peaceful. A short walk from the villa is a great Mexican restaurant and a 10/15 min walk there is a great Italian/thai restaurant with a great view (amazing food), Sottovento, and a lovely Indian restaurant by Makro too. Tesco and Makro are a 15 minute walk away so very convenient.
Brian recommended a really great restaurant too in Rawai, Archees, that did amazing thai food too!
Loved everything about this villa and was so sad to leave!
Would definetly book again!
This beautiful Villa is just minutes drive from Rawai beach with spectacular views over the islands and a short distance further on is stunning Nai Harn beach- one of the best on the Island.
Friendship beach is a very short walk but although the views are stunning this is not a swimming /sunbathing beach as it is rocky and the water shallow. It is very quiet and is nice to walk along as the view is spectacular..
Rawai is an old port and from here long-tail boats depart for nearby Coral Island, Ko Racha Yai. For snorkeling and diving trips. Chalong is 10min drive and is the largest port that has all kinds of boats including cruisers which will take you to Phi Phi Island Maya Bay- all at very reasonable prices. Yes, this is an ideal base from which to explore the island. Thai massage is available on the beach and there are very good quality Spas and beauty treatments. There is elephant trekking, horse riding, game fishing, go-karting, golf, sailing all a short distance away and of course shopping either in the local markets or Central Mall Phuket town or Jung Ceylon Patong where some wonderful bargains can be bought. Exciting nightlife is nearby at Rawai,Kata/Karon but Patong only 30min must be experienced.
Other Activities: Elephant trekking ATV
