At 230 square meters the MAIN HOUSE is very spacious and airy with a kitchen, dining room for 8, large living quarters, outdoor portico with dining table and garden. All 3 bedrooms are exquisitely furnished with comfort and beauty in mind and have private baths.

The Main House is part of the rural set Saltus Alvus along with two other houses, each one with its own private garden.

Located in Sotosalbos, charming and picturesque small stone village, (one of the 250 most beautiful villages of Spain as for El Viajero-El Pais magazine), the villa has spectacular views of the mountains and the beautiful romanesque XII century church opposite the house.

Immersed in the tranquility of unspoiled landscape and near many charming historic towns and outdoor activities, Sotosalbos It is located 17 km from Segovia and 100 km from Madrid.

Segovia, World Human Heritage,15 minutes away, will delight any visitor with a Roman accueduct, Cathedral, Alcazar castle, many Romanesque churches and old squares. The lovely medieval villages of Pedraza & Sepúlveda are 15 & 30 minutes away. La Granja de San Ildefonso with palace & beautiful Versailles-like gardens, 15 minutes away.

Horror de chimenea y pésimas almohadas.

Hay dos cosas que nos han parecido malas de solemnidad en esta casa rural. La chimenea, cuyo pésimo tiro hace que el salón (y buena parte del resto de dependencias) se llene de humo a unos niveles insorpotables y ello a pesar de que abrimos las ventanas para formar algo de corriente o de que pusimos los troncos pequeños y muy metidos en el interior de la chimenea. Dio absolutamente igual. Al final, humo, humo y humo. Así que, visto lo visto, el sábado decidimos no encenderla. La otra cosa que nos pareció muy mala fueron las almohadas. Muy estrechitas; muy, muy blanditas, como un cojín pero de los malos. Éramos cuatro adultos y todos coincidimos en estas cuestiones. Nunca hemos tenido problemas por estos temas en hoteles u otras casas rurales. Por último, la Casa carece de una adecuada información para localizarla y nos tocó dar muchas vueltas por el pueblo hasta encontrarla. Jardín compartido con el vecino. En definitiva, mala relación calidad precio.

Casita con encanto en un entorno precioso

Estuvimos en agosto en la casita de la chimenea con dos niños. La casa es preciosa, habitación muy amplia y una terraza fantástica y un jardín. El pueblo donde se encuentra es también muy bonito y tranquilo. Muy recomendable, tanto para descansar como para visitar Segovia y los pueblos del alrededor. Muchas gracias Begoña por tu hospitalidad.

Casita estupenda!

Una casita estupenda con un rincon en el jardin para leer precioso, en un pueblo muy tranquilo con una iglesia romanica que es una joya. Begoña muy hospitalar con esas madalenas para el desayuno y el cafe' ,azu'car y aceite para pasar el fin de semana, son detalles que se agradecen. Solo heche' de menos un espejo de cuerpo entero.Para repetir.
