We live in Alabama, but have always loved to vacation in the mountains. We own a portrait studio and love photography, so we enjoy riding through Cades Cove and the Roaring Fork Motor trail because there is usually an opportunity to photograph wildlife, the beautiful mountain views and waterfalls, and we even have some of our photography displayed in the cabin. We loved it so much we have decided to make Pigeon Forge our 2nd home and we would like to share it with you. Our prayer is that you will leave here feeling peaceful, relaxed and most of all blessed.
Why they chose this property
Cabin is 1.5 mile from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, yet nestled back in a wooded log cabin community which makes it feel like you are away from it all. The great thing is that you don't have to travel any steep, dangerous roads to get there. Sometimes to get a cabin with a great view, it's a scary ride to get there especially in the winter months. Since the best views are seen through the parks or scenic drives, wouldn't you rather have a cabin close to all the attractions? If you'd like to go for a swim, the Pigeon Forge community center offers an outdoor pool and an Olympic size indoor pool and is just a couple miles away. The Community Center is an 86,000 square foot recreation complex consisting of: basketball courts, racquet ball court,
Walley ball court, 10 lane bowling center, Aquatic Center - 25 yard, 6 lane pool, shallow water baby pool, Child care center, 2 Aerobics rooms, Meeting room, 1/10th mile walking track & Wellness center. Hours M - F: 6AM - 9PM, Sat.: 8AM - 6PM
Sun.: 1PM - 6PM. Cost is $8/person with 4 and under free. There is a Publix grocery store within a mile and is accessible without having to get on to the busy Parkway, and you can also access Wears Valley Road this same way.

What makes this property unique
One of our favorite features of the cabin is the log interior and gorgeous ceilings with pine beams. The décor lends to a warm cozy atmosphere. It is so relaxing to curl up by the fire with a good book. You can enjoy a ballgame on the 50 inch flat screen TV or watch a good movie while reclining on the comfortable new living room furniture . There are televisions in all the bedrooms. Or you can challenge someone to a match on our vintage foosball table. We love to preserve the past, so you will find we decorate with several primitive/vintage accents throughout the cabin. We provide some books to read, games to play, and movies to watch. One very unique feature of this cabin is that it is handicap friendly since the kitchen and master bedroom are on the main level. While we offer fun and excitement for young families, we are also perfect for those in their golden years.
