Situated in a rural location with stunning views across the beautiful Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the house is adjacent to the Drakes Trail cycle way, half a mile from the picturesque village of Milton Combe (with excellent pub) and one mile from the Dartmoor National Park. The National Trust property of Buckland Abbey and a coarse fishery are within walking distance and nearby attractions include the Historic Market town of Tavistock and maritime Plymouth with its Hoe, Barbican and National Marine Aquarium.
The house has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 people. The master bedroom , with ensuite wet room, is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. There are two further bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. There is an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with wood burner and all modern facilities. From the lounge, bi-fold doors open onto a terrace. Luxury bedding, soaps and fluffy towels are provided and there is free wifi.
As you will see from the photographs the grounds surrounding the house have been recently landscaped. There is a large terrace at the front of the house with fantastic views of the surrounding farmland with Cornwall in the distance. Ample parking is available. The house shares a drive way with one other property which is occupied by the owner. The two houses are surrounded on all sides by farmland and do not significantly overlook each other. Because of the very close proximity of farm animals, pets are not allowed.
