About Jacqueline

I'm proud to present my themed holiday homes, Wonderland House and Looking Glass Cottage, and hope to welcome you soon. I've lived in Brighton for 15 years so can advise objectively on local restaurants and things to do. I want you to enjoy your stay in this brilliant city as much as I enjoy it. That's why I ended up moving here!

Why Jacqueline chose East Sussex

I LOVE this 16th century cottage and it's amazing location, right by the sea, shops and bars. You can't beat it! I walked past it many times and heard about it's heritage in one of the many Brighton Guided Tours, never dreaming I would one day own it. When the opportunity presented itself I grabbed it and have thoroughly enjoyed renovating it to create this sophisticated wonderland boutique accommodation for you.

What makes this cottage unique

You won't need to worry about budgeting for taxi fares as this property is slap bang in the middle of all the action whilst still being tucked away. You can roll out of bed and onto the beach in minutes. The luxury finishings mean you get a boutique experience with the exclusivity of your own place.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Came for a hen party with 7 girls. Loved every detail of this gorgeous place! Where to start! The service from Jacqueline was above and beyond. The accommodation surpassed even our high expectations from the photographs. The location is ideal, right by all the bars, clubs and shops and sea (although we didn't go swimming!). The beds are soooo comfy. Its just a beautiful work of art. Will definitely be recommending to friends and possibly come back with hubby for romantic break.

A wonderland place to stay

  • 5 of 5

An excellent venue, close to all amenities: shops, restaurants, seafront and anything else you could want.

The house was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed. We were out most of the time, so it suited our needs.

Jacqueline was very helpful with any information required and prompt with replies.

Suggestions we made for tiny improvements were taken on board.

Only criticism is sofas little uncomfortable for long periods of time.

Well worth staying

Good sized property, clean (for a clean freak like myself everything was to 5 star standard!) and well maintained throughout.

Perfect for a week away with my 5 other friends, we had an amazing time and would love to go back again this year!

Our internet (Wifi) did not work but the problem was solved as soon as we rang Jacqueline.

Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a quirky get a away property!!

What a treat

I cannot recommend this beautiful city home highly enough! The attention to detail and ease of booking from start to finish was second to none.

Amazing location, secure, beautiful decor, quirky detail, thoughtful hostess, awesome shower, excellent little outside area, even ice trays!, good towels, comfortable beds! Not sure what more I could have asked for in all honestly. 1000/10!

Please visit!

- Gatwick Airport is approx 40 minutes by train, coach or car.

- Gatwick airport is serviced by most major airlines, including BA and Easyjet.

- There is a wide selection of nationwide car rentals to choose from at the airport. However as the house is in such a central location, a car is not necessary to enjoy the city- all the major attractions are accessible on foot or short cab ride.
