Elisabetta purchased this apartment in 1997
This apartment has always been property of my family. I live in the same neighbourhood, few metres away. I know well this area full of bars and restaurants, so you can enjoy a pleasant stay.
This apartment is a typical old Florentine building, very essential and high-ceilinged: the roof windows make the house very bright and let you enjoy a wonderful view of the Duomo and the Giotto’s bell tower.
This property was as advertised, central to all museums and attractions, It was adjacent to a bus line, taxi stand, grocery store, coffee shops, within walking distance of everywhere. The air-conditioning save us in a September heat wave. The moon was in view over the Duomo out the living area window.
The apartment was very nice, and walking distance to major attractions and train station. The view of the Duomo from the window was even better at night. The apartment fit our family of 6 nicely. I would highly recommend the apartment to anyone staying in Florence.
This apartment was perfect for us. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beds were fantastic. I slept like a baby! The location was perfect; we were just a few blocks from everything. Elisabetta was so sweet and welcoming; she made us feel right at home. The restaurant just below us was amazing! If I ever come back to Florence, I will definitely stay here. Had a wonderful time! The apartment was as advertised--two comfortable bedrooms, two very nice bathrooms, a fully functional kitchen, a nice living/dining area, and a small balcony with a view of the Duomo and Campanile. The location was perfect--just around the corner from the Gallerie dell'Accademia and a little less than a 10-minute walk to the Duomo. Elisabetta was a charming and gracious host. Thank you!
Our family of 4 (two children age 7 and 14) spent 3 wonderful days in this apartment in July 2016. The location was fabulous, less than 10 mins walk to the Duomo and 5 mins to Accademia. The apartment was spacious and very clean and it was really nice to have a second bathroom. The kitchen was adequately equipped and we cooked breakfast in there everyday before heading out for sightseeing. Nice view of the Duomo and Giotto's tower from the living room balcony--it was a great sight to wake up to every morning! The second bedroom had a bunk bed which the kids loved. There is a pull out sofa bed in the living room as well, which we did not need to use.
Elisabetta was very pleasant to work with and had great recommendations for restaurants. We would return to this apartment in a heartbeat!
We stayed here for 3 days in June of 2016. It was a wonderful place! It is next to Piazza San Marco, which is a very busy place but we could not hear any of it in our place. She has wonderful air conditioning and the beds and rooms are great. I had two teenagers with and they were able to spread out and not get in each other's hair!
Within walking distance to pretty much everything you would want to see in Florence. The Accademia is literally around the corner.
Elisabetta was wonderful! I have been to Florence before so we knew our way around but if you are new, Elisabetta has good maps of where to go.
Just a warning it is the top floor of the building so if you have trouble climbing stairs look elsewhere, there is no lift. We were fine though.
Loved our time there and would stay here again.
The apartment overlooks a crowded square full of bars, restaurants and pastry shops in the heart of the cirty, few metres away from the Gallery of the Academy with the Michelangelo’s David, the San Marco Museum with the works of Beato Angelico and other attractions. The apartment is near all the main bus stops, so you can get anywhere in the city centre or on the outskirts of the town (Fiesole or the Piazzale Michelangelo). Few metres away from the apartment there is an excellent restaurant, L’Accademia, where you can enjoy the best dishes of the Italian cookery.
