About this property

A restored mid 19th century Farmhouse set on an olive grove of over 600 olive trees at the border with Tuscany, in one of the most stunning regions in Italy. The farmhouse contains 4 individual apartments, fully equipped for a self catering vacation. 17 acres of land and views of the Umbrian countryside as far as the eye can see. 1 mile from the medieval beautiful town of Citta Della Pieve it s the perfect location to enjoy the surrounding area and nearby cities and towns. The 36 foot swimming pool which is privately owned by the apartments and has views over the valleys in an elevated position. The owners are happy for you to help yourself to the fig trees, apricots, pomegranate and vegetable gardens plus all the herbs for cooking are growing on the land. October vacations can include olive picking with the possibility of taking away your own organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The trails around the property make it a perfect location for bike riding and horse rider will enjoy the possibility of horse hacking with our horses. There are 4 apartments available and they can accommodate up to 20 people, so if you see no availability, or you are a large group, please do drop us an email, we are like to be able to accommodate you. Animals are welcome, as long as their owners are well behaved! On request we can organise cooking and pottery classes for adults and kids, day trips to Rome and Florence and wine tasting with local producers.

Erholsamer Urlaub mit viel Aussicht

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Anwesen war mit dem Navi gut zu finden, das letzte Stück Weg führt über eine steile Kiesstraße, die aber sehr gut zu befahren ist. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und sehr um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste bemüht. So gab es z.B. zur Begrüßung eine Flasche Prosecco und einem Olivenöl aus eigener Produktion. Shirley hatte uns außerdem schon vorab eine größere Wohnung angeboten, da wir zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts die einzigen Gäste waren. Bei Fragen (z.B. nach Weinprobe, Restaurantempfehlungen) haben sie uns gerne weiter geholfen. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet, sehr genossen haben wir die überdachte Terrasse mit verschiedenen Sitzgelegenheiten und wunderbarer Aussicht. Der Pool ist groß, auch dort finden sich mehrere Liegestühle und aussreichender Sonnenschutz. In der Ortschaft Citta della Pieve, die mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar ist, gibt es mehrere Restaurants, einen Supermarkt und auch eine Tankstelle. Ansonsten war der Ort ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge z.B. nach Orvieto, zum Lago Trasimeno etc. Auch unserem Hund hat der Aufenthalt gefallen. Er durfte sich frei auf dem Grundstück bewegen, mit dem beiden Hunden der Besitzer (beide kastrierte Rüden) hat er sich gut vertragen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen mit Tieren und wunderschöner Landschaft. Der Pool war leider noch nicht geöffnet, aber er war sehr groß und schön oberhalb der Unterkunft gelegen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt

brutta esperienza

Sono costretta ad attribuire una stella semplicemente poichè è impossibile metterne zero. Invero, questa struttura, sarebbe da recensire con zero stelle. Per raggiungere l'appartamento bisogna percorrere una strada completamente sterrata e dissestata per almeno 5 minuti. Impossibile da attraversare a meno che non siate in possesso di un SUV o simili. L'appartamento, seppur ben arredato, non era stato adeguatamente pulito. Pulizia estremamente superficiale (alcune lenzuola erano sporche, ragnatele diffuse e polvere su tutte le superfici). La piscina (millantata dalle foto presenti sul sito) era impraticabile a causa delle condizioni igieniche: fondale giallo/marrone e acqua sporca, con presenza di alghe. Un gran peccato poichè pensavamo di poter trascorrere un soggiorno rilassante in una struttura immersa nella natura ma purtroppo al nostro arrivo abbiamo ricevuto queste brutte ''sorprese''

Lovely Umbrian farmhouse apartment with loads of space. So peaceful. Great swimming pool. We tended to eat out at lunchtime and eat in the apartment in the evening as the town was a short drive away - but this suited us.
