as a builder and a world traveler we know what is important in a short term vacation rental, .and this house was built for those needs it has all the gagets and privacy. you will not be disappointed

Would give 6 stars if I could!

Elsford was an unexpected delight! We were tickled to find fresh flowers awaiting us, eggs and chocolates in the fridge, and wine and fresh sourdough bread on the counter. (The very best) host Gilly welcomed us soon after and oriented us to the cottage and the area. The day after we arrived, we were snowed in (heaviest snow in 5 years), but luckily, Elsford cottage had us covered! We enjoyed Gilly’s provisions, board games, and the stunning views including the local deer weaving their way through the snowdrifts. What a sight! The next day, Gilly got the jump on us and had already begun to attack the snow. Later that day, she cleared an extra path for us on her own - talk about going above and beyond! Thanks to (again the very best) host Gilly for making what could have been an inconvenience a real delight.

absolutely wonderful

great property, the cottage had all of toiletries needs and wonderful treats. beautiful view of the mountains and plenty of outdoor space. Gilly the hostess was just the greatest! I hope to return back! me and my dog theo enjoyed ourselves!

Just Wonderful

We could not have been more impressed with Gilly’s hospitality. The cabin is delightful, her demeanor is friendly but not overbearing, and the extra kitchen supplies and snacks helped us so much over our stay. I wished the location would have been in walking distance of restaurants and shopping, but we used Uber easily to get around. This is a quality option for two people. I would definitely stay again.
