Disappointed

I don’t often leave negative reviews but we felt a little duped by this stay. This place is in a parking lot looking straight at an office building. It was not cleanly. We actually went and bought linens to use as they seemed laundered but old and dingy. The bed was comfortable, nice having tv/WiFi, appliances, and close to the beach. But those were the only good things. Basically a step up from camping. My husband described it as a place he’d stay to fish or hunt with buddies and use a sleeping bag on the bed. So if that is what you’re looking for, probably the only reason he’d stay again. But this time we decided to leave early and went back towards Anchorage for the last two nights.

It’s a place to sleep

It’s a little rougher than portrayed, but I guess that’s just Alaska… overall it was a decent place. Towels stank so we bought our own. Bedding was a little nasty. It had a kitchen, freezer and a stove so it all evened out to be a decent stay.

Everything we needed

2nd year to stay here. Has everything i need. Would have liked a toaster but maybe next year. Would definitely stay again. Close to everything you could need.

We stayed 4 nights with 2 rooms. On the 3rd night we did not have any hot water in either room. Next morning still no hot water. Since this was through VRBO, there was no property owner on site to report immediately.
