Wonderful place to stay!
Sleepy Hollow was a wonderful place to spend a weekend. Everywhere you looked you could see nature. The house was clean and beautifully decorated to give you a rustic feel. I enjoyed my visit immensely and would definitely return.
We stayed at Sleepy Hollow Lodge for 3 nights. It is a very nice house. It was very clean and had an absolutely beautiful second floor, which is basically the master suite. A wonderful king size bed, gas fireplace in the bedroom, sliding glass door with a deck overlooking a stream, a full bath (shower, no tub), and a sitting room. A big screen TV mounted on the wall, a smart TV with lots of channels. On the first floor is a second bedroom with a queen bed, kitchen, eating bar/counter with 4 stools. The kitchen is well-stocked and clean. The living room is cozy and again with a mounted smart tv. The house has neighbors nearby, but while we were there there didn't seem to be anyone else around. The town of Dushore isn't much. There's a small grocery store a deli and the Jolly Trolly Luncheonette on the main street. We ate all our meals at the house. There is hiking nearby which we did a couple of hikes while there. It was nice to come back to a really nice house to relax and make dinner. Would highly recommend this house.
Cabin had nice amenities so you could be out in the country without really “roughing it”. Property was very cool. There is a stream in the back and a pond in the front. The beds were comfy and the WiFi worked well....no connectivity issues. Kitchen was clean and modern. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back in the spring.
Very clean, and neat property. All appliances worked fine.
A very good experience. I have stayed at this property a
number of times the last 3 to 4 years.
It is the perfect rental property. It is very clean, modern and has a welcoming feeling.
We have stayed here before and every time we are pleased with our stay. The property is beautiful and as nice as our own home. We will be back again. Thank you!
This was our third stay at Cindy's house. Needless to say we love it here! We seem to get unlucky with the weather so actually spend even more time in and around the house. It's so cozy we dont even mind staying inside and just playing games by the fire.
Conveniently located a few miles from the quaint town of Dushore. The lodge is less than 30 minutes from some of the most popular attractions that the heart of the endless mountains are known for. State parks Ricketts Glen and Worlds End with their overlooks, beautiful lake Jean, the draw of the Loyalsock creek and the staggering beauty of the falls trail. The Loyalsock trail is within minimal distance as well. Multiple wineries gladly welcome the area visitors to sample their inventories of varied wines. As well, our tiny town is a popular draw for the changing hunting seasons with thousands of acres of state game lands. Fishing the area lakes, ponds, creeks and mighty Susquehanna river lends its contribution to the popularity of this beautiful place.
