Very clean and tidy. Louise welcomed us and had the wood fire going in the kitchen.

Linen, towels, bedding all nice and fresh. Mattresses very comfortable.

My only issue (which wasn’t too bad anyway) would be that there is only heating in the kitchen/dining so other rooms in the house a bit chilly (although there are some small blow heaters provided and electric blankets)

Overall a nice comfortable stay

Thank you

Owner's Response: Hi there, So glad you had an enjoyable time at my cottage. It’s the coldest time of year, but can be quite warm if some doors are kept closed. Warm woollies are must! Still no snow yet❄️ ! I will put an extra heater in. Hope you enjoyed your weekend. Louise

Lovely comfortable, welcoming cottage

  • 5 of 5

Valley Views cottage is such a lovely, comfortably and stylishly furnished cottage with amazing views across Walcha, which are great in the day time, but also pretty at night seeing the lights dotted around the hillside. Lovely cottage garden, which isn't fully fenced, which is a shame for the dogs - but we did absolutely know that when we booked. Louise was welcoming and helpful and I totally recommend staying at Valley Views cottage and at Walcha which is a great little town.

Comfortable charming house. Great value

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay here. Louise has provided a really pleasant space to relax. The bed was really comfortable. Plenty of breakfast cereals, bread, juice tea and coffee. Plus good bathroom products. There is a great visitors guide with maps and info. The town is quiet with some nice old buildings. Graze is a good cafe with great coffee. The Aspley was closed on Sunday but has a good reputation for food. Try to fit in a visit to the spectacular Apsley falls and take an easy walk around the gorge. Loved your house. Thanks for the pink blossoms in vases. Sue
