Comfortable charming house. Great value

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay here. Louise has provided a really pleasant space to relax. The bed was really comfortable. Plenty of breakfast cereals, bread, juice tea and coffee. Plus good bathroom products. There is a great visitors guide with maps and info. The town is quiet with some nice old buildings. Graze is a good cafe with great coffee. The Aspley was closed on Sunday but has a good reputation for food. Try to fit in a visit to the spectacular Apsley falls and take an easy walk around the gorge. Loved your house. Thanks for the pink blossoms in vases. Sue

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Valley Views. The cottage is very comfortable .

Big living room area

Relaxing sunroom and good sized bedrooms .

Louise the owner is very helpful and responsive as well, and she was right we could have stayed a few days and enjoyed the national patks around Walcha.

What is a party?

  • 3 of 5

Cottage was comfortable. However, we wanted to have 6 family members for a BBQ and Louise reminded us 'no parties'. We explained we were all seniors, it was not a party & assured her we would take care of the place. Her hubby set up the BBQ but she said something about seniors causing problems so after she left the family decided to not have the BBQ at our place as we all felt uncomfortable. Disappointing.

Owner's Response: Sorry, but I do now make a point of saying a no party policy, which is in my "speel" anyway, as a few groups have ruined it for everyone. As I said not all young either. I was led to believe there would be eight of you. I know you would have been no problem, but I have to worn everyone now, for peace of mind. The place was left in perfect order, thank you.
