Great Beach House, dogs genuinely welcome.
About Annie Hamlet
My family has a lovely holiday house called 'Adrift at Ventnor' located on Phillip Island, Victoria which we love to share. I love natural beauty, beautiful beaches, stunning sunsets and happy dogs; all of which can be found at our place.
Annie Hamlet purchased this House in 2004
Why Annie Hamlet chose Ventnor
My beach house is a short walk to beautiful pristine beaches at the bottom of the street. The beaches are perfect for swimming, exploring rock pools, boating, gorgeous sunsets and wonderful walks. There is a dog beach too. We are also located near the penguins, surf beaches and a short drive into Cowes where there are plenty of restaurants and shops. The property is fully fenced with large gardens and outdoor entertaining areas, comfortable furnishings, fully equipped kitchen, plenty to do with table tennis, cubby house, BBQ, TVs, DVDs, board games & reading nook to mention a few. The atmosphere is peaceful and adrift from hustle and bustle!

Comfortable warm and cosy and perfect for dogs
All that we needed was provided. A warm comfortable home, short walk to the beach, short drive to various attractions and a lovely fenced yard for our two dogs to enjoy. We will definitely booking this property again. Thanks Annie for providing such a great place to sit back and relax.
Great place for a break
After booking at short notice, Annie, our host, couldn't have been more helpful. She provided heaps of help and information for things to do around the island and places to visit, especially useful as it was whale spotting season. The house was clean and had everything that we required. Ventnor was a great location away from the busier Cowes which made a nice change. Would definitely recommend.
Stay at adrift
house is charming. Close to everything, loved the penguins, walks, caves, nobbies, woolamai, Churchill. Was all fantastic & we had great weather to top it off! Owner also sent message byo let us know of whale sightings & we spotted one that evening as we walked along Ventnor beach! Would highly recommend staying at adrift, very comfortable, good heating for winter, great yard for dogs. Everything provided in the house. Loved it!!

Adrift at Ventnor is located on wonderful Phillip Island where there are bay beaches, surf beaches, fishing villages, wildlife sanctuaries, the famous penguin parade, boat trips to see seals and in winter whales can be spotted. There are fantastic native wildlife, beautiful sunsets and glorious beaches. Visit local wineries, enjoy locally sourced food and good restaurants. Lovely peaceful location in a quiet semi-rural area
