Hear the waves crashing from this two storey 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom villa, set directly opposite the beach and just a beach stroll from Byron's main street. A rare find in this highly sought after location, AQUABLUE offers a stylish 'home away from home' in central Byron Bay's most relaxed beachside area. Sorry, we do not accommodate schoolies groups or pets.

Soak up the famed Byron beach lifestyle at its best, without the day and night vehicular and pedestrian traffic common to other beachfront areas. Located in central Byron's only no-through traffic foreshore zone, this iconic holiday locale is characterised by its magical 'Old Byron' ambience, often referred to as offering "the magic of what holidaying in Byron used to be about". With stunning Belongil Beach and its renowned cafes at your door, Byron's vibrant main street attractions are also just a beach stroll away.

Brilliantly located on a no-through road, down a palm-lined driveway in a totally private, lush tropical garden setting, the villa features striking décor and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, including master with ensuite and elevated sun terrace, whilst downstairs includes a spacious open-plan living-dining area opening onto a private courtyard, full-sized fully equipped kitchen, laundry and toilet. Outdoor features include a shared pool, spa, shower and bbq cabana and basement parking for two cars.

With the beach foreshore park about 50m away, ideal for a nap on the lawn or kicking a ball, the Belongil Beach cafes offering Byron's best coffee, brekkies, lunches, dinners, woodfired pizzas, sunset cocktails and chilled grooves, are footsteps away. A local shop, gourmet take-away, yoga and surf schools, tourist activities booking centre and the outstanding beauty of Belongil Spit and Belongil Estuary are all right on your doorstep. Those that know Byron well are passionate about this area and return time after time.

Inside, distinctive original hand carved Balinese furnishings create a striking theme throughout the villa. Decorated with attention to detail and appointed with everything you need for a relaxed holiday, it won't be long before you feel right at home. Equipped with quality appliances, ceiling fans and electric heating on both levels and reverse cycle air conditioning on the lower level, all bedding, bed linen, bathroom and kitchen towels, cleaning starter packs, DVD movies, CD's, books and games are also provided.

Outside your front door, beyond the private courtyard, a BBQ cabana sits against a backdrop of mature palms beside a shared pool and spa that are securely fenced and totally protected - a real asset if the beach gets windy. Lush tropical gardens offer total privacy to each villa and also to the pool, spa and barbecue areas, offering a level of privacy and relaxation rarely found in similar settings. And to top it off, direct easy access to our spectacular uncrowded beach is available right across the road.

A maximum of five guests applies inclusive of infants and children. Functions, parties, gatherings, pets, schoolies, young adult groups and third party bookings prohibited. Code of Conduct regulations apply and fees for noise complaints charged against bonds. Standard 2pm check-in and 10am check-out times apply. We are unable to access reliable commercial wifi, however customer wifi is available at the local cafe. Property is two storey and may not suit some guests. Location photos not actual views from property. The pool and spa are not heated but most guests find temperatures suitable year round except winter.

Great place to stay

Aquablue was a fantastic place to stay with my young family. Fully equiped kitchen and great location. Weve stayed at many houses in Byron and this was great value for money. Close enough to walk to town by the beach, 15mins max, but far enough from the busy town area. Really quiet peaceful place with a/c if needed and ceiling fans in all rooms. Nice pool and bbq area and just a walk across the road to the beach. Couldnt recommend more highly.

Perfect location to relax

Aquablue apartment was a great place to stay for 4 people. There was plenty of room, very comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, and across the road to beautiful Byron Bay beach. It was a good 25 minute walk along the beach to the centre of town, but with a very good cafe next door (the Tree House - bookings essential as it's a very busy place) we soon settled into relaxed mode, ready to face the weekend. Recommend a visit to the town of Bangalow, and more particularly a restaurant called HARVEST in a village nearby. It was fabulous and one of the best meals I've had in a long time. All produce is sourced from their farm. Check it out.

For readers information, the beach walk to the top end of Jonson Street (where you'll find Byron Bay's iconic Beach Hotel), takes us around 12 minutes, the area usually being quoted by agents as a 10 minute beach walk away, although this obviously varies with the individual, and why not invest an extra few minutes to soak up what is unquestionably one of the most spectacular stretches of beach in the country? It's also great to hear too that you made the most of your visit by getting out to some of our stunning hinterland areas like Bangalow, Newrybar and Goonengerry, which absolutely should be on everybody's 'must do' list! No visit to Byron is complete either, without a visit to the iconic Treehouse café a few doors down, which, as you suggest, guests are well advised to book during busy sport and cultural event weekends like the one you stayed over, although this of course is much less of an issue over normal off peak periods. The pool is great for the children and the location is quiet. A lovely walk along the beach to township.

Fantastic location for holiday

Had a wonderful stay family (6) at aquablue, found the acccommodation just perfect. Very clean, plenty of room with all the extras we needed and more. Location was also perfect just far enough from the crowds but only a 10 min walk to the centre, beach beautiful. First review I have ever written, highly recommend and defs would stay again,
