The beach is a declared Aboriginal Area and at its southern end you can find middens. You can follow the sand and surf along at least four more beaches. - mostly with no buildings.

Ask a questionAbout Carolyn Parish
We are a retired couple, Carolyn and Leon, a former English teacher and a clinical psychologist. This was our holiday cottage and we later built a home to retire to and where our grown children and grandchildren can visit and enjoy the beach and countryside.
Carolyn Parish purchased this cottage in 1984
Why Carolyn Parish chose Bawley Point
Leon loved surfing (body surfing) and both of us had always lived near the beach in Sydney. Carolyn and our daughters loved horses. Our ideal was to find a place where we could enjoy country, beach and keep (and possibly breed) some horses.
What makes this cottage unique
The cottage is located on 80 acres of beachfront property. There are rural views and you can drive through the property to access the beach. There is a small shopping centre nearby with an IGA, bakery, bottleshop and newsagent. There are always some kangaroos on the property, many with joeys in pouches. There are also wallabies and possums, including sugar gliders (though they're very shy) and echidnas (also shy).
