About David and Hilary Harris
OUR BRIEF STORY Welcome to Aussie Chillout Modest Accommodation Around Australia without Booking Channel or Property Manager Fees by BOOKING DIRECT We (David and Hilary Harris) are the owners of all 7 listed properties on Aussie Chillout. Please check them out. We are not property managers. We own and manage our own properties. Brief Personal History: Hilary and I (David) have been married for 30 years with 3 adult sons and 2 grand daughters. Currently live in the Hunter Valley NSW. Hilary originally was born in South Africa and emigrated with her family to Australia when she was 10 years old. Primarily we have both worked in aged care and disability services. I (David) gave up salary work in 2014 to focus on the business of short stay holiday rentals. I (David) love wearing Hawaiian Shirts as I consider this my dream business as I can Travel and Work at the same time. Working Holiday! Travel History: We love travelling around Australia and cruising on the high seas. In the last several years we have done a lot of overseas travel to the following places: Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Fiji, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, UAE, Singapore, Taiwan and South Africa. Looking forward to a trip to Canada in September 2018. So we understand the needs of guests in travel and accommodation. Holiday Rental History: We started with one holiday rental in 2004 and increased to 7 holiday rentals in 2014, which is where we currently stand. Eternally grateful to other online booking channels over the last 14 years to be successful. But we want want to take the business to the next level. Thus in February / March 2018 we have registered a company: Aussie Chillout Pty Ltd and have created this web site. We don’t want to rely solely on online booking channels. Guests don’t have to pay booking channel or property manager fees. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to message or contact us.

It was fantastic!
We really loved the house and especially barbecue zone at the backyard
There were 7 of us and we could easily fit in the house
Really recommend to stay there!
Great central location to explore area from. Wonderful entertainment area. Owners very helpful A+
Great central location to explore area from. Wonderful entertainment area to enjoy. We had coffee every morning outside and listened to birds in trees while planning our day. Once inside our disabled daughter was able to manoeuvre around independently. Owners were great with communication and house was set up with folders to give local area guidance. Very clean and functional house with a fenced yard that our companion dog enjoyed exploring
Nice homily place it was great for the kids.

Perfect Girls Weekend Retreat
We really enjoyed our stay in this property and will definitely be returning and recommending to everyone. The backyard was spacious and there was plenty of off street parking with a good size entertaining area at the back of the house. The house inside is beautiful and spacious and really well set out. The TV is easy to use and the bathroom has a bath tub big enough to accommodate a full size human which is a definite win. It is within walking distance from the local pub too which is fantastic. The owners are fantastic and very helpful and easy to contact. This property is A++.
