I live and work in Napa Valley in the wine industry and am an outdoor enthusiast. You can find me most weekends either hitting the slopes, skydiving, mountain biking, running, camping, hiking, etc. Give me any reason to be outside and you'll probably find me there. I use my Tahoe house in the winter time but then open it up for renting in the summer. With all that Lake Tahoe has to offer, I'm certain you will find something you love that will keep you coming back as it has done with myself.
Erin - Calneva Properties purchased this cabin in 2010
I couldn't have asked for a better getaway vacation spot.
My family and I loved this home. It had everything. The decor was beautiful. The towels were thick and soft. (Beach towels too) The front deck was a great place to hang out. The kitchen was equipped with enough silverware to feed an army. This house had toiletries and a coffee basket with all the necessities. I would highly recommended this home. The best part is it felt like we were staying at a friend's home. It was comfortable and inviting. Two thumbs up!
Spacious, great amenities, and at a good location. The Bear House has all you could ask for (grill, hot tub, plenty of beds). The host, Erin, was very accommodating and responds very quickly.
Would definitely come back!
Guys trip for fishing and golf. Great cabin, adequate sleeping space for all, nice grill and kitchen, nice hot tub and patio. Had some initial difficulty getting TV working (unusual for a group of guys to have that problem?) but eventually figured it out. Would rent again.
We comfortably fit 10 people in this house for an annual family gathering. The only hting that we didn't expect was that the firepit and barrels in the backyard are no longer there, but besides that, this house makes the perfect place for basecamp! You are a short walk to the beach, a short taxi from the casinos on stateline, and very close to local resorts. We were there in the summer of 2015, and the backyard makes for the perfect hangout spot in the sun. Between the hot tub, patio, BBQ (on the front porch, maybe move it to the back?), and garden area with a place to lay out on a towel, we were fully satisfied. The kitchen is amply stocked and the couch and tv were big enough to gather everyone around.
I would recommend this cabin to anyone and would definitely rent it again!
